Subaru Impreza WRX Club Spec Special Edition 2012

Subaru Australia has rolled out another handful of its limited-edition Club Spec models, bringing a number of styling mods to the WRX sedan. Offered in tangerine or black, the new Club Spec package is available in limited numbers, with only 300 being built. For the extra, you'll get leather trim, along with a black treatment to the 17-inch alloys and mirror caps.

There's also a black STI rear wing, Club Spec external badges and a numbered Club Spec interior badge. Subaru has also gone extra-stealth on the black version, with the front guard garnish finished in black instead of the usual silver. The black version also gets red contrast stitching on the seats, back rests and steering wheel.

Mechanically, the cars remain unchanged, with power delivered by a 195kW and 343Nm 2.5 litre four-cylinder boxer engine. The official 0-100km/h time remains 5.3 seconds, and fuel consumption is listed at 10.4 l/100km.

Given the number of 3rd gen WRX's we already have, in both hatchback and sedan form, adding another one with only minor visual adjustments seems a bit pointless.

Recently I have been Looking at the cars in gran Turismo and are adding special editions of the standard cars, for example a Toyota 86 GT 2015 model, minor suspension changes, new ariel fitting, new body colors & new dash material or the scion Fr-s RS 1.0 special edition in a limited edition paint color, limited production run and a new body kit.

Always looking for an easy modification for an extra car model on Gran Turismo.
