The BM Series Legacy first came in at 2009 as the fifth generation in the series. It was powered by a 296 HP 2.0L Horizontally-Opposed 4-cylinder direct injection turbo engine (H4) mated with the Lineartronic CVT and, as with many Subarus, had Symmetric All-Wheel Drive (AWD).

Hehe, nah, my grandfather had a manual Golf GTi I until he died, 77 year old. So I don't think I need a automatic then

This Legacy is quite a bad ass, it can do 0-60mph in 5.1 to 5.3 seconds ! we need this car in GT6 ! they keep featuring the old Legacy (2nd to 4th gen), was hoping PD will bring 5th gen into GT6 but they didn't, i'm quite dissappointed..

it only has Lineartronic CVT, however the sport sharp (Sport#) mode will turn this car into 8 speed conventional shift (manual mode available) and won't behave like any other CVT equipped car, having test drive Forester 2.0 XT with same type of transmission and same SI Drive selector..it's a bad ass car, i was very impressed with S# mode
