I'm sure some members have already seen this posted on forums or other automotive news/blogs. This is the Subaru Levorg Concept, Subaru's new wagon that will be revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show. Rather than sounding like I'm copying and pasting, here's an article from Jalopnik.

Personally, I'm quite excited for this. A great looking wagon from Subaru! Even looks ready for production already. However...I get the feeling that this might not find it's way onto US shores. :indiff:

Is that not the Legacy? Looks absolutely stunning, a great adaptation of the current style on the Impreza and forthcoming WRX.

It's said to be placed between the Legacy and Impreza. Considering it's size, it seems that way as the Impreza is now offered in hatchback form rather than wagon.

Stupid, stupid, stupid name. But 300 hp sounds awesome. Maybe it's the spiritual successor to the long defunct WRX/STI wagon.

PRETEND I'M A SUBARU MARKETING EXEC:

"I say we make this the Outback. Let the Legacy be it's own thing, now."

Eleventy billion dollars for all.

As I understand it these days Subaru would prefer consumers to think of a sedan when they think of the Legacy, as their stately "flagship" model (like how we don't even get a Legacy wagon in the states anymore, just the sedan and the "Subaru Outback"). Maybe the Levorg is intended to draw some wagon-ness away from the Legacy. However, based on the goofy name and its middling size, I'm guessing it'll be JDM-only, like MedigoFlame said.

I had no idea that Subaru dropped the standard Legacy Wagon and I still look on their website from time-to-time. Seems like a weird thing to do, but then again, the majority of Subaru wagons I've seen for the better part of a decade have almost always been Outbacks.

Still, I want one of these, dammit.

The Legacy wagon was dropped for this current generation in the US, which is a real shame as it's a very attractive wagon. (And...who doesn't love wagons :sly:) With the current Outback taking it's place and its popularity, Subaru of America doesn't have that much of a reason to bring the Legacy wagon. Because of the US's obsession with 🤬 crossovers! Still hate how some people call the current Outback a wagon, it's far from it by now. Watching a earlier generation Outback parked next to the current one, there's a huge difference in size. Or at least ride height.

Hahahaha the name is laughable even in spanish. The thing looks amazing, though. And 300 horses 👍

¡Me gusteria! This is perhaps one of the most beautiful Subarus since the 2003-ish Subaru Legacy. Well... either since the 2003 Legacy or the recent BRZ. Only knock against this car is the name. Levorg. How do you expect to have some appeal with such an unusual name? Sure, even "MP4-12C" isn't exactly a sexy name for a car, but at least you know what kind of gorgeous car you're dealing with. Despite the name, I still think this is a car to be excited about.

K well not on the 170hp version anyway.

I am contractually obliged to dislike this as a Mitsubishi fan, in my mind, so yes.

@MedigoFlame -- The Outback is still a jacked up Legacy of course, but the current Legacy did gain 3 inches of wheelbase compared to the BL/BP, making it a proper mid-size car. So it's still a wagon, but it's hard not to notice how it has grown. I think it looks bigger than it really is, though.

As a fanatic of Legacy wagons, I approve. 300hp? Sa-weet!

Hope this gets a manual, would be like a new version of the BH5 Legacy, which I adore. :D
