Subaru redesigns Impreza WRX after only 2 years...

Even though the WRX has been selling like crazy for the past year in North America, Europeans and the Japanese hate the current look and have been demanding a change (North Americans bought the car in drovbes because it is the frist time in history the WRX has been offered on our shores and the performances outweighed the controversial styling)

This weekend at the Paris Auto Show, Subaru unviels the model which goes on sale in 2004 (probably in August of 2003) ... I am still undecided if I am a fan of the new look ... the headlights are very generic looking (Civic/RSX/Corolla hybrid) and the tail lights look a little like Altezzas which are lame

the "tacky" scoop is to cool off the Intercooler... i hope there's some kind of grill inside of it, to make sure birds don't come through!

Whoa, looks a lot better! The circle headlights just didn't cut it, i'd say. I like this new look. Although that hood scoop is rather large....

NOOOOOOOOO, I love the current WRX, I am from Canada, and I have fallen in love with this car. That new style is not going to fly with North Americans.....

I neevr liked the look fo the WRX, always thought it was ugly. Then it kinda grew on me, but I still don't like it.


This one is better, but I don't like the styling of WRX.

Ugh give me the old 1997 style Impreza anyday. Although the WRC car doesnt look too shabby.
