I would imagine all the cars are already finished, or at least very close to, and PD are just releasing them one at once for suspense or something.

Although thinking about it, that doesn't explain why some manufacturers have no teaser image at all. Unless it was down to the manufacturer whether to include one, I suppose.

Actually I think I'm talking myself out of that idea the more I think about it. As much as I love PD, it would be very out of character for them to implement a feature with everything entirely finished and worked out well ahead of time :P

Totally pumped for the Daihatsu one, dunno about you guys

I know. But as Subaru, you have some more VGT cars that already have teasers, that's why i asked source in Subaru being the next and not another one!
We don't know whether it's the next one or not.

I have a voice in the back of my head whispering: "LFA-based Subaru."

Be thankful it's replacing the usual voice...

The next one is the Toyota Supra as far as I know. It's set to debut at the North American International Auto Show (aka Detroit Auto Show) in the beginning of January.

By Toyota Supra I mean that the Toyota VGT car is suppose to be a preview of the new Supra apparently. Sorry for double post, accidentally pressed reply instead of edit and didn't realize until it was too late.

I have a feeling that Subaru will use Vision GT to showcase something that could precede a physical concept car for the rumoured third-generation Subaru Alcyone. After all, the sketch in GT6 shows obvious similarities with the one that recently surfaced through the "close to Subaru" source mentioned in the article posted above. Another point, although it might mean nothing, is that the Vision GT sketch has been used in similar articles suggesting this next-generation Alcyone. Given that the production car is expected to arrive in 2017, I don't see Subaru proceeding with Vision GT in 2014. Anyway, such a strategy would be somewhat similar to the way in which Toyota has utilized Vision GT, thus it would be completely unsurprising if Subaru did the same.

I always thought Alcyone is an awesome name :D I've always pronounced it rhyming with "cyclone", but only recently that I found it's pronounced "el-SIGH-uh-nee" 💡
