Suggested GT1 car to use?

I'm about to enter FIA GT1 Series in Shift 2 Unleashed so which GT1 car should I use?(Excluding Nissan GTR GT1)

The MC12. I believe it's the best GT1, with the Murcielago close behind it.

Usually a Corvette in the lead; are we being told something? (And there'snever a Ford in the pack; any Lambos?). The Corvette tuning (and driving!) CAN be bettered I'm sure:-

Yes the Corvette is the easiest to drive but it's not the fastest and in these races, you have to get on the front quick, before the carnage gets you.

PepeMickey is quite right - if you don't take the lead early you probably won't ever take it. 'Carnage'? That's the horrible crush of cars that bunch together at the first bend.
I'm finding that different cars suit different tracks.

Isn't that the high speed oval with all the chicanes in France? I only remember that track from GTR2.
