Super Car Festival

Ok, so all I have left to do in the professional events is the Super Car Festival. I heard somewhere that the Cadillac CIEN is the car to use in this series. I've got the CIEN, i've got one that i've modded slightly for better performance, and one thats completely stock. I can't race eaither in the Super Car Festival becuase it says that the CIEN isn't a production car. I know i've raced against the CIEN in the Super Car Festival, why can't i race my own? Any help would be appreciated.

What exactly defines a "production car"?

This was discussed in some other thread somewhere a few days ago. I don't remember exactly what was said but for some stupid reason the AI can race concept cars in the Super Car Festival yet the human driver cannot.

A production car is defined (atleast in my opinion) as a car which you can go to the car dealership and purchase but not a full blow race car .. like the Oreca Viper or the Corvette C5-R.

Yah but if you race against a Cien in the same race it would not let you enter your Cien, thats messed up. It wouldnt let me race my ZZII in those races either, and I believe there was a ZZII I raced against. I just used my 5xxhp Suburu STi Spec C, worked great 👍

So, lets say i get some run of the muck car...we'll say a miata. If i drop a supercharger in it or something like that, would it make it non-production? In other words, is there anything i can do to a production car that would make it a non-production car...

I used the C5 Z06 pumped to the max. Might be a little over kill for a more experienced driver, but it was just fine for my skill level.

Hi! I used the RUF RGT porche like car, with a good deal of tuning and custom gearing. It's perfect for the job as i does not have "that much power" and great handling.

TVR twelve speed. You can win it in the TVR race. you don't even need to mod this thing.
Throw on a spoiler for 20/40 downforce, oil change, and increase your TCS to 10.
I ripped through this event with ease.

i used a mercedes slr mclaren.

my brother used a mercedes sl 65 amg

both were stock...and tore up the competition

alot of my friends used ford gt 05 or suped up mustangs
