Welcome to Round 1 of the Super GT Championship. We begin a new season fresh with most of the field consistanting of new drivers, new cars are also present and new tracks on the schedule will make for an interesting season.

General Information and Regulations​

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by SuperGT sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me RACECAR) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manner.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round. Horsepower and/or weight settings are adjusted for competitive reasons each round based on finishing positions from previous rounds.

• Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
• No Cheating, etc.
• Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
• While close racing is accepted, it will also be monitered so mind yourselfs on track. Penalties will be enforced for any behavior considered avoidable contact or rough driving.
• All decisions by GTMSA officials are final

Qualifying​

• CAMikaze will give the signal to start
• 30 Min Qualifying session
• RS, RM, RH tires or any combination thereof
• ASM is prohibited, TCS is optional
• Gearing (top speed slider) is own choice
• 1 Points for Pole Sitter in each class

Race​

• Standing Start
• 18 lap race (100km)
• RS, RM, RH tires or any combination thereof
• Tire Wear & Fuel Comsumption On
• Strong Penalty system on
• ASM is prohibited TCS is optional
• Gearing (top speed slider) is own choice
• Points for race: 20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2
• 1 Points for fastest lap

I'm in but the penalty system in game is just to sensitive for me and the invisible cars takes away the realism but that's just my 2 cents. Also this is just my opinion but i think 30min qualifying is a little much.

Apparently, a new and more improved penalty system is coming soon via the next update so we will likely not have to worry about the invisable cars anymore. As for the 30 min qualifying, I've tryed to make more toward the series real life qualifying session so I know its very long. If everyone else doesn't like it though, then I'll shorten it.

Only the Standard GT300 cars. No Standard GT500 cars as we are exclusively using the premium models.

It was an awsome race that pass into the chikane on the outside took some big nerves and it was extremely clean! Just the type of racing I love! Sucks that I messed up on turn 1, got suckered following GFalcon into his mistake wich ended up costing us big time! Shame he got his car damaged on the incident I know he would've recovered and taken the race if it wasn't for the extra pit stop.

Ok everyone, the first post has been updated with the Results. a highlight video will coming hopefully tommarow now that I have new & better video editing software as well as the points chart. For those of you that haven't already done so, post you first and last names so that they can be included in the video (for the scrolling ticker and Results.
