Welcome to Round 2 of the Super GT Championship. We move from the Technical curves of Suzuka to the sweeping, fast streets of Tokyo. What was the end of last season is now the driving momentum for the this season. Drivers will need to maintain vigilence and focus if they are to keep off the guard rails.

Will do. One last thing, will a pit stop be required? This is so I avoid that disastrous start to my season.

Pit stops aren't required. Don't rule them out however as we are running these races with Fuel and Tire Consumption on.

Just did the math. 20 laps of the track will get you the 100 km race distance.

I will be racing in the Honda R100! :D Hey I got an idea for a race name... how about The Coca-Cola Classic at Fuji? :sly: (named after the Coca-Cola Corner) --- Randy

Hi guys, can we expect a room number to be published in this thread? I tried adding you, (GTP_RACECAR), but you've got no more room for friends!
Cheers.

I'll be there. Do I add 5kg or 5% of the Garaiya's weight, and can it be positioned anywhere?

Yes, you add 5kg. As far as position, leave it as is. I've yet to really figure out how that works so for now, it won't be messed with.

It is for weight distribution I think. If you have a RR car you can put the weight at the front for better distribution.

We run in private lounge's.

Think i'm ready for Sundays race. Been messing with suspension settings etc got lap time down to 1:44.146 so far for a gt300 car.

O.O Forgot about that. ><;;;;;

Lounge open for practice right now. I'll have it open again after I finish tonight's ITCC race until about Midnight EST.

To make up for today, I'll have my Lounge open tomorrow from 1:30 pm EST for practice until RACECAR has his lounge set up for the race.

Gentleman, I have some important things to announce:

Race Setting Rules now GT5 Specific

I've made this small amendment that will start with this race and be in effect for the rest of the season:

ASM is prohibited. TCS, Skid Recovery and Active Steering is optional

Up until now, it has never been made clear about the other settings included with GT5, but this should clear up any confusion.

Success Ballast

The newly enforced weight penalties, which from this point on will be called "Success ballast" will only be in effect for all points paying rounds, including the enduros. All the Special Rounds will not have the Weight penalties in effect.

Endurance race points doubled

The Enduros will now pay out double the amount of points for finishing positions. It'll work like this:

1st - 40
2nd - 38
3rd - 32
4th - 28
5th - 24
6th - 20
7th - 16
8th - 12

So finishing order as well as finishing the race is much more important now.

Procedure for damaged cars

For the rest of the season, drivers who have a severly wounded car during the race are strongly advised to move offline when other cars are coming. If you car cannot continue moving at all, then you must pull over to a safe area away from the racing line and quit the race, it'll be counted as a DNF.

My Lounge is open for practice. :)

To join the lobby go to the Community tab, GTP_CAMikaze, Lounge (Coffee Cup) and click Join.

Quick Question:

So, there are a lot of moveable barriers on this track, all in places where they're probably going to get hit. Especially the tires on the first corner. Now, these could easily cause issues. So...what are we going to do if someone knocks tires or barriers all over the track?

Quick question before the race, are we going to limit every car to 500 hp?

Race room is up now. Remember, Success Ballist is in effect this weekend. Top 5 finishers from last race must add the respective weight to their car as specified in post 1.

Good, you did get my replay file. I wish there was an easier way. They need a "share with friends" option for replays.
