Welcome to Round 5 of the Super GT championship. We now continue on to the championship push in full swing. Starting with this race, the series will finish out its last season in Japan and what better place to really kick it then at Special Stage 5. It has very welcoming straights, but don't be fooled or else you'll get it wrong in the corners and the walls will be waiting for you.

General Information and Regulations​

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by SuperGT sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me RACECAR or oldmodelt) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manner.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round. Horsepower and/or weight settings are adjusted for competitive reasons each round based on finishing positions from previous rounds.

• Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
• No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
• Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
• No wall-riding as well. Combined with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
• All decisions by GTMSA officials are final

Sprint Race​

• Arcade Mode>>>Single Race>>>City Courses>>>Special Stage Route 5 Reverse
• 5 lap Single Race
• Weight penalty in effect
• RM tyres only
• No tyre wear
• AI @ your choice from -10% to +10%
• AI tires always set to RS
• Forced Pit Entry penalty system
• ASM is prohibited TCS is optional
• Gearing (top speed slider) is own choice
• Points: 6pts - 5pts - 4pts - 3pts - 2pts - 1pt
• 20 second penalty added to race time if you dont submit a time
• Top 3 take a 1% weight penalty to the race

I've just done a re-run and I'm even faster

Its kinda funny, the lap times on the reverse circuit are near identical to the ones on the original direction. If I had not picked up on my mistake, I would have had lap times on both directions and thought "these are some close times"

I thought the same thing when I was doing the re-run Its amazing how similar they are. Just goes to show that is a unique track design! 👍

Thanks for time submissions. Again I apoligize for the mistake in not distinctly putting Reverse, its thrown a few people off so I intend on making sure it doesn't happen again.


Results will be put up hopefully by tomarrow along with the Weight penalties for the Race itself.
