ok i did the search thingy and didnt see what im about to ask but if its been posted already then im sorry.
iv been trying to beat the super speedway 150 for the past 5 days. those damn group c cars eat me alive every time. i would buy the gt-1 from toyota but i cant afford it i need a car that will win the race in b-spec that is cheaper then 2mil. iv already tried the cahparral2j and the gilllet.

the cheapest (but longest) way to win super speedway 150 is to do the nurb 24 hour race and use the formula one. if not, a puegot 905 with a stage 4 turbo will do the trick. the bad thing about the puegot 905, is that the maximum laps you can do is 41, then you are forced to pit because you are litterally running on fumes :nervous:
youll have about 1 unit of fuel left. :ouch: its a thirsty little race car.

might i add that the next time you need help with an endurance, go cheek out Famine's Endurace companion. 👍 👍 very good thread, if you ask me 👍

thanx for all you guys' input i just beat the super speedway and am currently about 5hrs. into the sarthe2 24hr and kicking some serious butt

I just A spec'd the super speed way 150 at a consistent 200+mph aside from pits and easily finished 4 laps ahead of second place. Used the Formula Car. It was a blast!

Ezz777 - That's what I was gonna say... No competetion really. I did this race between Bob and myself in less than half an hour (swapping driver every pit stop).

model-T rules - Isn't that a bit like overkill? :D I'll try it!

a spec is easy but b spec with the f1 car can be quite challenging unless you hit the x button everytime you pit. for somereason, the b spec driver is afraid to pass the other cars.

I won this race in the Mazda 787B Race Car '91 (fully tuned) in B-spec 3 laps in front of the Minolta and on Reduced Pace all the way. I haven't even set the car for the track. Just used a general setup I had.

I have since made a specific setup for this track and on racing hard rear tyres and racing medium front tyres and in the same race, the car ran the fastest lap (on LAP 6) in just under 27s! That was in B-spec Medium Pace I wonder if I can get under 25s with racing super soft tyres in A-Spec. I'll try tonight.:)
