Got a new superbird 70' and I've been playing around with it forever and can't find the right setup for drag pls help

Ok well would you mind telling me the setup you have so far and possibly a few things you've tried and we can work from there?

I would have to log on to tell you specifics. But so far I pretty much just have the suspension rear high front low toe angle in the back almost maxed out. Front chamber is like 4.5 I believe rear has a 1.0 chamber. Tranny I have the gears lclose together. I pretty much am having trouble with the tranny setup

You dont need camber in the back put it to 0.0. Add toe to it too. Negative toe in the front and positive toe in the back.

I would say around 150-177hp

Mph? Lol i know what you mean, well let me tune mine really fast and ill see what i think but i have a feeling it may need to be higher.

This would be due to the fact of its odd powerband that you want to try to stay in down the whole track.

Or karos got it

Total hp in the car itself is 800hp, like I said I can't find the right gear setup. I'll hit like 140-150 mph at the end of the 1/4 which doesn't seem right for a car with 800 hp

That seems very right due to excessive tire spin. Thats probably all youll get out of it. Plus its a bit heavier of a car. Most muscle cars have 800-850 hp and cross at 145-150

Yeah I guess. I burnout for about 20 feet on launch so I had to start launching in2nd

If you guys could give me your thoughts on suspension that would be great. (dampers, roll bars, etc.)

Well so far in my personal experience i use much lower front dampers and spring rates, seams to work well for muscle.

Yeah thats what I'm doing now and works good. I'll do a timed run on my superbird tomorrow and post it here. I'll up the top speed to 185 or 200 see what that does. Should I flip the tranny?

Yea i would but i say try not flipping and flipping just to see what you feel works better.

Someone told me to flip it and I have no idea how to. I'm scrubby when it comes to drag

Well flipping is when you set the final gear to a certain spot then you set your top speed. Once your top speed is set you drop your final gear down all the way left and try to come up with as karo said a topspeed in the upper corner of 185-200 mph

Also note you normally want your 5th to be all the way right.

Alrighty I'll try It should I put my 1st gear all the way left?

Haha yeah I remember I was looking for a 70 charger

Stop double and triple posting.
Suspension:
lowest/highest
highest/lowest
1/10
10/10
1/1
5.5/0.0
-1.00/1.00
This should be a decent suspension for you. But not the best keep working on it till you hit a better time then 10.05x. Thats whats on the leader boards.
