Supercar Festival Pro. What Car?

Ive spent millions trying to find and modify a car that will win the pro league supercar festival, and I just can't place high enough to bother finishing the race. Help.

You should be able to finish it with quite a few cars. Pick one that you tried that has the most modifications to it and probably best horsepower. Maybe someone will send you a set up. If you used that CIEN setup I sent you, I made some changes to mine namely with the LSD intial torque set to 8. I think I also adjusted the gearing. In fact I think I won this with the CIEN back when I did it.

They wont let the cien on the track, it said it wasn't production, which it is. The same thing happened to the ford GT. The opponents drive both, but I can't.:yuck:

How about this?
supercar festival
bmw m5
bmw m3 gtr, s3, w1, na1, rc exhaust, fc tranny, rc susp. (400 hp), nos, temporarily add more power to get in to the series, then remove as appropriate.
Callaway c12 (add na2 change to na1)
ford svt-f-150 lightning, fully tuned
aston martin v8 vantage with nos (post #65)
#65
professional events - supercar festival

aston martin v8 vantage with nos (40) and non power upgrades. Add ballast as appropriate depending on lineup, but avoid any lineup with the nissan r390 road car as it drags the points down too far. Beware of the vw nardo concept, cadillac cien and tk zzii on pole position as they can easilly run away from the pack.

This was a very challenging set of races due to my choice of car. The v8 vantage is one of the heavier cars in the game, and it handles like a warship. Good fun, but if you're looking for an easy race, look elsewhere.

Ah, well its been a while since I did that circuit. I don't really remember what I took then.

Come to think of it I think I used an AC Cars 427 S/C, but you sound like you could more seasoning and budget before you tackle that car.

Ha! I find myself entering cars with over 500 hp and then de-tuning them just to make my races challenging! Unless the car handles so bad I need extra power. Otherwise the Supercar challenge is usually a borefest to me. So I'll de-tune them usually, and then I'll forget to tune them back up. Try to enter the next race, and can't get in because I'm below 493 hp (whatever the minimum is). Then I gotta rush all the way back to the Home garage, tune it back up, etc.

To the OP: if you're having trouble with these races, it all comes down to practice. Just buy any car over 500, do lap after lap in Time Trial mode. It just sounds like you need to learn your cornering, braking, etc. Study some real-life car racing on You Tube if you can find it.
