I guarantee you will win everytime in either A-spec or B-spec, but it will coast you

Car- Ford GT '05 550hp: $149,880

Now to tune your car trust me you can do this and still be able to race-

Exhaust- Racing: $4,900

Engine-
Tuning 3: $80,000
Port Polish: $5,800
Einge Balancing: $14,000
Racing Chip: $1,800

total coast: $279,880

A-spec mode: drive it like you stole it you will lap people
B-spec mode: put the driver on overtake (triangle button) and "push" (number 5)
Also hit The R1 button so it brings up the other screen then hold the L1 button and use the d-pad and push it right 3 times

there you go good luck

Car setup: downforce- Front 30 back 20

I did this with this car, but with stage 1 na tuning, racing brakes and no lsd. I won "easily" (apart from new york - damn cadillac cien) and saved some money. All that tuning is not needed to win this championship.

I have done it with a Stock Ford GT and a Stock Mclaren SLR and won pretty easily as long as I kept the Nardo/Cien out of the race (exit/reenter)

I use the stock Ford GT and won 'for sure'. I also used a stock Zonda c12s 7.3 and won 'for sure' And the Jaguar XJ220. YOu don't need to throw gobs of horsepower in your car to win. You just have to drive it properly.

Truer words, truer words. I loved the Supercar Festival. The stock Ford GT '05 is ample.

I've played this game since GT2, and the better I get at the game the more I appreciate the value of not modifying cars.

The "museum" aspect of the game, driving a car for the car itself, has become more of a joy.

If they'd left in the racing modifications, perhaps it would still be fun to make race cars out of road cars. Without that though, it's simply not fun to pour in a horsepower overload.

Some cars need parts to solve problems (ie FC transmissions for classic cars that peak too soon), but beyond that, letting the cars speak for themselves is how this game shines.

did you guys had to buy a car for this "supercar festival" or did someone actually won a car that can be used in this race????, I really don´t know what car to use or to buy? 💡

Exactly.

Yeah...I didn't have any trouble with this one either, I don't know what the problem is. If I wanted to win this one a lot (I don't see why I would need to..) of course I'd just upgrade something fully and set it loose, what else would you do?

Prize cars that could be used are:
Boxer Spirit: RUF CTR Yellow Bird '87 (edit: vv apparently not - didn't know it was modified)
Blackpool Racer: Cerbera Speed 12 '00 (I think?)
Domestic A (Gold): GT Skyline GT-R '01 (possibly, would need hp upgrades)

All sorts of cars have been used to win this series, M5 was my choice. You can try Z06, SRT-10 Viper (I think?), Merc SLR, DB7 or 9 (maybe), ZZII (expensive), XJ220, ...

Just remember - no concept cars are allowed. Rules out many of the prize cars.

I bought a GT and moded it as suggested, used ducks settings and it wasnt even drivable, but it let me in and seemed to be fast enough. I'll try it on bspec and see what happens.

Dude, you can win this title by racing stock GT40, stock SLR (the transmission sucks though), and my favourite, the Saleen S7, stock as well.
