Is it possible to use the Honda NSX-R concept 01 in this race? I ask this because it states '' production cars '' only.

Nevermind. Now that I used the search button, I feel really dumb. So in this race you use a car with over 493 hp stock. Correct? My question then is this. Can you bump the hp up then enter the race or are you simply stuck with the cars stock hp without any availability to tune it?

As long as your car has more than 493 horses it is eligible to enter when it comes to the power, it doesn't have to be the stock figure. Tuning is allowed. But you're still screwed with the NSX - production car or not, probably not - as it simply isn't capable of having that kind of a power figure no matter how much you tune it.

Go into Arcade Mode. Browse the cars. Note that, in the top left corner, there are a variety of labels which can be applied - Road Car, Tuning Car, Concept Car or Race Car. In order to be eligible, your car must be a Road Car and must, however much you want to tune it, produce 493hp or more.
Mlbbaseball - There are several examples of the AI using cars that you can't, and not just in GT4. Also your signature makes absolutely no sense at all.

Thank you! It is! It is! And it's cheap (pre-modifications), too.
Thanks to you & Duck's workshop (Stage 2 Turbo, and with a few minor tweaks to accommodate my late-braking need for a bit of oversteer), I just won the first race in the Supercar Festival. Hurray! I've tried several different cars, but nothing could do it (that I could control, anyway).
ETA: Oh, and I was able to win on the first try, so you know it's a very capable car.
E(again)TA: Because I put NA tuning instead of turbo - It's the stage 2 turbo I used on this car.
