Actually the 33 laps works out fine for me, did a full run last night to test tires and pitting strategy.

33 laps is fine with me also Chris!

Was still suffering last night when this went up, and so didn't post a reply. That's all.

Gonna get to this in a wee bit, after posting the new WES thread is done.

Neil

I don't want to bothering you Chris but my penalties from R1 are not over yet?
It's O.K. for me to run with 306 Hp but I don't understand the system at the moment. :ill:
You said that every penalty last for 3 rounds. So after winning the pole in qualifying doesn't mean any change in my horsepower, because the 1% percent you take from me for the pole returns me because of the penalty for winning round 1 is over. :odd:
Am I mistaken?

Well I made one run today and my pit strategy was all kinds of messed up as well as consistency. I decided to make another run. The second was very consistent lap to lap with my last stint being the best. After exiting the race though, where you have the blue/red parallelograms and the white timer that just spins signalling a load, the timer turned red. I don't know if you have ever seen this before, but it is not good. I think it means something along the lines of you are screwed. It is basically the GT4 Red Screen of Death. I thought this phenomenon only occurred at start up. Oh well I suppose as I am still 5% down on hp. I'm not running this one again. The screen has been stuck that way for probably a good 5 minutes now. I have no hope. I know I probably shaved about 10-15 seconds off of my time seeing as I was way more consistent. Well I'm going to restart it now and submit my crappy time.

Clean the disk and your lens buddy! (with a lens cleaner disk)

Should help, it's a disk read error thingie!

Time submitted

I managed a good clean run with some solid laptimes. I love this track, it has such a flow to it I'm really able to find the zone once I get the stupid AI out of the way...

Good luck all 👍

Times submitted. I'm fairly sure my 4 season winning streak at SSR5 will come to an end this week, the Toys will take the podium spots. At least I won't gain weight going into next weeks race at Grand Valley where the Toys will have new settings (hopefully) and some extra weight from this week. Hey Chris have you done your testing yet? Good Luck everybody, yes even the Toy Boys. Hey that would be a good team name "Toy Boys" :)

Toy Boys! :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Times sent to Chris!
Enjoyed it, did two runs and improved by only a few seconds with the second run.

Good luck all!
Neil

Times sent. Once I got around the AI, I was able to make good consistant laps throughout the race, even while lapping the other cars.

"Toy Boys" :)
 Kinda hard to take them serious anymore now. Even funnier: Switch "T" & "B" around and you'll be in tears of laughter

Times sent - not really very confident about this one, don't like the track much (probably because I'm not very good :dopey:) but gave it my best shot anyway. :)
Roll on Round 5 and GVS!!!!

Joe

OK Laz and Chris did you guys get together and plan a sandbag? :) You beat me in the Quali, then there was the talk of adjustments......hmmmm I smell a conspiricy. Neil, guys, what do ya think? :):)

EDIT: OK, I see now both Chris and Laz made 4 pits to my 3, that's almost 30 seconds right there. I've always found that there isn't that much difference in times between RS's and RM's ( at least in the RX7) so I never run only RS's, I'll run RM's/ RS's
Well it's nice to keep my streak going but now I'm crippled for the next 3 weeks. Take it easy on me OK? At least til Monaco, my second favorite city course.

Congrats to all the SGT drivers....we are the best series going!!!

Has anyone heard from JR at all?? If so let me know please, I'm getting a bit worried about him. Don't want him pulling an EV4L...hope he's ok also!!

Conspiracy? No, never...uh uh, not me!
No, You have a course you're good at, and I have one I'm hideous at, add to that my car went from light and nimble to a tub in 1 round.

I have actually made a couple adjustments, check out the race thread for R5Q.

Congratulations to Drew, you raced very well, and to Aremburgkerve for a great 2nd place. Getting the 5% reduction for late registration back must have helped.

In GT500, a great performance by our defending champion. Well done Z. Redwings was not far behind.

On to Grand Valley, where hopefully Team Toyota will be doing a much better job. Good luck all

That felt like a race-winning drive yesterday :) But where was everybody else? I didn't think I went THAT fast... :odd:

Congratulations to all the other podium finishers 👍

Hey Andy!
There was no sandbagging...this was probably the best result I can get with these settings.
Congratulations to your win,buddy.
Was it the third in a row, wasn't it? 👍

Actually Laszlo, I think it is 4 in a row. He absolutely loves this track!
I like it and can be almost as fast (see fast lap times), but couldn't keep up with him here over a race distance. It's the final sector that he gets absolutely perfect EVERY time, where I tend to either start accelerating too early in the final corner, or stuff the braking point for the chicane every now and again. And the mistakes just add up!

Sickening really! :ill:

Congrat's to all the podium finisher, and good luck at GV! 👍

Neil

 Wow, 2nd place???!!! That weight that dropped off the car must have really helped the overall pace - the car didn't feel that fast throughout the circuit. Although my consistency was pretty good, that was probably the key to my podium. Well thats a turn up for the books!!!:sly:
Well done to Drew22 for a good win, and also congratulations to the GT500 podium finishers! 👍
And off to Grand Valley we go!
