Rules and Regulations​

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by SuperGT sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me ICallShotgun) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manor.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round. Horsepower and/or weight settings are adjusted for competitive reasons each round based on finishing positions from previous rounds.

Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.

• No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
• Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
• No wall-riding as well. Combine with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
• All decisions by GTMSA officials are final

Race (35 Laps)

• Arcade Mode>>>Single Race>>>Original Courses>>>Midfield Raceway Normal>>>Select Car
• AI difficulty set to 10 for all classes
• AI Tires must be RS.
• Tires restricted to RH,RM,RS or any combination thereof.
• Tire Wear set to STRONG
• Penalty set to FORCED PIT ENTRY
• TCS is allowed IF DESIRED, but NOT mandatory. ACS is PROHIBITED.
• Gearing is free.

Just completed a 1 stop and 2 stop race.

Very happy with the 1 stopper, very consistent, but the 2 stopper is slightly faster on much softer rubber.

Get my tyres from a little place just round the corner. Dumped the crappy Yokohamas and switched to Everlast!

Everlast ! .. have some Everlast cd's but have not heard of the Tyres Everlast

2 stopper 'on much softer rubber' .... hmmmm , have to say Midfield and the RX7 are made for each other , not sure if it will do the distance stopping twice but sure as ---- will try .

I did a 1 stopper yesterday. Think I submitted it too, can't remember. Was seeing splits close to those I got in qualifier for a couple laps.

banked a 3 stopper...yes, I can hear Neil laughing at me from across the pond.

Overall though, I feel pretty good about it. Can't really get much faster with the strategy I did. Might try a 2-stopper tonight, but the gas-mashing style I drive at is no way to do a 1-stopper.

Maybe you were on the wrong tyres.

Nope .. i checked before leaving the pits for some warm up laps .. 'Everlast Axxis Racing Slicks' .. NEIL let me use an old set {said they were past their prime but they did the job wonderfully} .. worked just great .👍

Finally got a run in tonight, I did a 3 stopper using 2 different compounds. The math doesn't work for a 2 stop, at least on paper but I may try if I get a chance.

I think I'm done with this one. One run in the Celica and I'm completely happy. I don't think I could knock off more than 3s over 35 laps, and it's not worth it for me.

Ran a second race in the Supra, and I was happy I did. I knew that the 1st run wasn't my best, with tire strategy thrown out the window in favor or speed. So I ran again, this time conserving my tires for an extra lap each run. And was rewarded with a 15s difference in times. I stretched my tires for 9 laps / run instead of 8, and pitted with orange tires, giving myself NO "bad tire" laps. Neil, I hope you're proud.

Anyway, I'm happy with my times, and since I'm done here, I'll be testing some LMS cars [/shameless plug]

Times sent. Had a flawless run first time until my remote decided to stop
I did it again and the first half of the race was a bit too close alot of times, but the second half was perfect. Flawless run, consistintly hitting the 1'06 range and had a bullet proof strategy to match. Time to see what happens now.

And Drew22, I'm gonna be joining you and Neil because I'm gonna be getting the PS3 thursday so watch out for "RACECAR"

Which one are you getting? Don't get the 20 gig unless you don't care about backward compatability with PS2 games. Neil and I each got the 60 gig and I use that hardrive as a third backup for my pics and music, actually the media for pics is better then my computer.

20 gig?! Pfah! Cheap people get the 20 gig I'm getting the 60 Gig. I had my eye set on the 60 gig ever since it first came out. And how much storage do you have on there?

Way to go to the podium finishers. A pretty close event overall. Del, way to go in GT300, beating the the crowd, and Fantomas40, with the win, leads the points by 1 over the defending champ.

I need only 1 point to secure my GT 300 championship title.
Only ton has the chance to beat me but to do this he needs to win all of the qualifyings with the fastest lap and all of the races with the fastest lap to score those 44 points.
In this case he will win by the higher number of wins.
Maybe I finished for the rest of the season to give the possibility for you guys to have a nice finish in SuperGT. 👍
