suping up an eclipse without nitrous

hey i was woundering if anyone knows what parts i would need to increase horsepower on my 2003 eclipse....plz tell me the parts i would need to do this ( plz be specific i.e brand names, etc)

Anyway, I know nothing about Mitsubishis, but I think the first question you'll be asked is "how much do you want to increase the power by/to?" and the second will be "how much are you willing to spend".

Throw those bits of info around and you'll probably be deluged with mostly-useful information...

I guess do the basics, like performance intake, headers, exhaust, etc. Overboost.com has a lot of useful information.

i guess i dont belong in these forums because im not an exact engine expert i need to know exactly what i need to order it i know i need an

intercooler, i wanna flaming tail pipe etc...but i dont know what everything is called...the most i can do is fix a lawnmower engine so i need some help with names and brands to get the best i can

Engine, drivetrain, suspension, body work, paint, graphics...in that order.

Get a good set of brakes to.

But with the motor do basics like intake, exhaust headers, racing chip, new pully system, ignition amp (MSD makes em), plugs, wires, turbo, intercooler. Just keep working up on that.

Oh ya a good set of tires to. Ones with hight speed ratings.

Don't put a wing on it either.

You know what, don't read the previous post. Just go to the local sports shop, and buy a pair of rollerskates, or a bicycle. You don't want to be messing with a car if you know nothing about the basics.

a MSD ignition amp will increase the spark in your motor meaning you will get moe power.

The chip will reprogram for maxium use of the motor.

If you get a rear wing get some front down force as well.
