suspend a race

ok, so if i want to save in the middle of an endurance race for later, i suspend the race? how do i get back to it? do i leave my PS3 on? or can i turn it off?

You can turn your PS3 off, because when you turn it back on you aren't directed to the GT5 main menu, your ps3 loads up GT5 and the first thing you see is your car in the pits. Note that you can't get to the menus or anything at all until you finish that race.

that didnt happen. it went straight to the menu srceen. what went wrong? i suspend the race last night, and when i turned my PS3 back on today, it took me to the menu screen.

Weird. When you suspended the race, did you quit the game by hitting the PS button and then turned off your PS3 all when your car was inside the pits? Did you hit the suspend button when you entered the pits at the bottom of the pit screen? If you did all this I'd say this was no doubt some new glitch.

Goes to show it might be a good idea to try it out after just a few laps rather than racing for a few hours before trying to suspend a race for your fist time.

thanks for the help guys but i redid the race and finished it already. good thing it was only the indy 500 200 lap race.
