Has anyone, anywhere explained the suspension tuning in this game? What does it mean to have a 0 value for your springs, for example? Fast bumps, slow bumps, bumps on my head, etc.

I'm obviously not a tuning expert, but I like to try, and I struggle with suspension tuning in particular. The explanations in the tuning menus don't really do it for me.

:dunce:

It's all explained in the game on the right hand side of the tuning screen. Alternatively the options have the same effect in every game, and on real cars.

Shift does use relative values though, eg 0-10 and not actual values with units attached, which can be somewhat confusing. Having your springs set to 0 doesn't mean you don't have springs, it just means you have the softest springs you can use.

can someone help explain how to use the live tuneing, ie the tyre with the circle around that changes as the cars center of gravity changes, at the top it says tyre temp and suspension, is it of any use.

That's your live telemetry. it shows the grip levels of the tyres, so you can actually see what's going on with your suspension.
If you want to change your settings, though, you'll have to hit Start first and do it from the options menu.

The live telemetry is very valuable and useful. If your interested in the autolog leaderboards tuning will be very helpful.

agreed, it shows you what your suspension is doing so you have a better idea of what tune you need to do.

sorry for the back to back post
