Ok guys I need help with a race that I'm in on Wednesday.
The race goes as following.

Nissan GT-R N24 Schulze Motorsport 11
Oil change only
Racing tires allowed.

I can do a 2:03xxx but need tips to get faster. I'm also using a ds3.

Apologies if this is not that helpful but the only response I have to that question is just to practice. Especially through the esses where you can gain/lose a bunch of time also the Degner curves.

The single biggest mistake I and others I have seen make on Suzuka is over-braking. It's a circuit that rewards bravery and finesse over brute force and ignorance.

If you are allowed to tune the car then that will also help but basically you just have to get better at driving the course through practice, practice and more practice.

Hope someone else has something more constructive to offer but if not good luck with your race 👍

Ask one of the alien fast drivers on here to upload a replay for you. You can then download the replay, load it into GT5, & race against his ghost. Also, would be a good idea to view the onboard footage in Replay Theatre to see his braking points & corner speeds etc.

Ok will do that not sure how I do download that not done that before.

Great answers guys I am not very good at this game at all and feel I need to really better.

Also is there much of a difference between offline racing times and online.

Other may know better but I don't believe that there is much difference since the last update when PD brought on-line and off-line physics closer together.

For a guide on how to share replay files, click here.

And, there's now practically no difference at all between online & offline physics since the 2.09 update.

Well, I can do 1:53.xxx with this car, so here are some things you need to know:

- Use full downforce
- Lots of camber to help you guide the front of the car
- Keep your foot away from the brake pedal through the esses - you don't need braking here, just learn what is the maximum speed you can carry in every corner of this sector and just lift off and 'glide' the car around each bend. Here's where you'll gain valuable time...
- Be brave...lol

^What jucksmanBR said. Be smooth, you shouldn't need to use the brakes in the esses. Spend a good amount of time practicing so you have a good feel for the car and where it's limit is on the track. During practice you can also play around with your driving line a bit, try different apex points (late or early apexes), this can absolutely save you some time. Most importantly remember slow is smooth and smooth is fast so if you feel like you are really on edge relax a bit and focus on driving the car, and the times will come.

How much camber.

How much camber.

You'd be better having a look around the tuning forum (see links below) for a proper tune from someone like Praiano or Motor City Hami for the car but if you want to have a go yourself then I have always found the GTR's to benefit from camber of around 2.0 on the front and 1.5 to 1.8 on the back and for my driving style a little negative toe on the front -0.15 - -0.10 and the rear to between 0.00 and 0.10

Motor City Hami here https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=167421

Praiano63 here https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=201649
