And that is why you don't paint some of the standards in light colors. Dark colors is nice to get the few really bad once to look alright :D

I find that many of the standards vary in quality. For example The bugatti veyron looks fairly detailed and "Sharp" compared to other standards.

Even my 67' skyline 2000gt looks really detailed compared to others. It has all the details, and if it only had 3D model head/tail lights, I could sure think it was just a premium.

Also, I think maybe cars in GTPSP are more detailed then cars straight from GT4...
It seems like they 'partially' modeled those cars for PS3.

That looks terrible, maybe they missed this one when they were glossing up the old GT4/PSP cars?

Guy A: I thought you were going to do the Alto Works.
Guy B: But I thought you were going to do it. You mean we missed it.
Guy A: Don't tell K.Y. he will delay the game for another month
K.Y: Hey guys, what's up?
Both: Nothing.

has anyone else got the Nissan R390 Road car? It was given to me when i used my free car ticket after beating the professional races - that's not as bad as the Alto but it's pretty close! The detailing around the front is awful, i'll try and do a screengrab later.

They thought: "nobody wants to drive it anyway so why bother" :sly:

by that logic....who would want to drive an Insight, Prius, Fiat 500 and every other car with less than 100hp....honestly I could not care less for a Prius etc...those cars should just be scrapped in GT6 and bring in some real sportscars from the 80's...

No, this car deserves its own thread...

For over 10 years, we thought Kaz is an perfectionist but some standards in GT5 are an absolutely nogo...

I think it was the case that after they upscaled the GT4 models they picked a certain amount to clean up a bit and left the less popular ones as they were because you can clearly see a difference between various models. But why oh why give out the Hommell Berlinetta as a prize car when it's one of the worst looking cars graphically in the game so that everyone would notice? Surely hiding this car away in the used car lot and hoping noone sees it would have been a better idea.

I drove a prius allready in GT5, the premium version.
several times.

but that maybe becouse a drive a '10 prius in real life:)

but on the other hand I've driven a lot of cars with less than 100 bhp (the prius has 100+) in GT games.
They are a vital part of Gran Turismo.

My previouse was not intended to be taken seriously but may be the smileley faces don't work in your webbrowser, no hard feelings there 👍
