I think you just did ;)

I'm just not sure the Su750pp_gtlm thread is the best place ;)

But yeah, i'm up for that too, nice transition from GTLM to let's say an alfa 147 ;)

What's wrong with my thread? I'm always open to suggestions :).

Ok, we're going to run the GT LM's one more week (so I can play!) and then we'll change, sound good?

We can't keep changing every week, because part of the appeal is the multiple tunes to try out and I have to keep requesting the tunes.

Oh, dear the big noob called "me" was busy again it seems ;)

I thought it strange to plug a 500PP race in a 750PPGTlm thread, i thought this thread was for the Ford GT LM Cup Suzuka PP750, but i'm clearly wrong.:ouch:

That's what you get when n00bs enter the fora of the guru's :sly:

Nothing wrong with your thread Ardius, perhaps with my eyes ;)

===================
Edit: Indeed i noticed that when i backscrolled after your remark (that's what i was getting at with my eyes having a problem ;))

Thanks Ardius, Please pardon me Vanuber, i'm such a novice.....

I change the thread title every now and again, this used to be a Suzuki Swift Cup thread not so long ago.

Where is everyone? Track is full of idiots :grumpy:

Just today I have got my brand new copy of GT5P (Hooray!). Unfortunately, my brother has stolen the PS3 so he can play MGS4. :nervous:
Don't worry, I will be joining you (finally) next week, maybe tomorrow or Sunday.

Ooh a Z4 Cup... I'm not near my PS3 for a few days but this sounds fun :D I quite like the handling of the Z4 in the game. Though might be interesting on the plastic castors that stand in for tyres on PP500 level :P

N3's aren't as bad as you might think.

didn't realise this was on now. will be joining at xx.00

Aw man, I should have come online and checked here, I would have joined you. I was at PP600 Suzuka at that time.
Ah well, I should be around tonight.

well i'm going to go wash my car now and depending how tired I am i may be back for racing at 7pm uk time.

Joining at xx.45 👍

Holy! J-pap, man, you got to tell me the secret with London, I clearly am driving the wrong lines....good track for avoiding noobs it seems, as they all crashed first corner behind me.

Hehe thanks. Noobs are easy to avoid but you get some noobs that actually are quick and use brake testing/ramming to get past you. I can give you a replay of my 1.03.365 lap when I was tuning the car for the showdowns if you like. Should show you exactly the tricks for a quick lap. Though doing a fast lap while ahead is impossible. The tyres lose all their grip so i'm constantly feathering the throttle in 2nd gear.

That would be nice, thanks.

Cheers, vanuber. Shame I had to get brake-checked by that idiot in the Integra and also the stupid clio spinning on lap 1 and getting in the way. Other than that, good race. It seems its all about bumper cars at London, so sorry for any taps between you and me, of course they were not intentional, but with such a narrow circuit, its almost unavoidable most of the time.

Yea no problems dude:tup: Your car appeared to be lagging on our first race but was fine after that. You put up some good defensive driving:tup: Very fast driving from j-pap too even though he did start at the front:lol:

People seem to like bumping at the last turn especially. If you're side by side you can avoid them going into the wall but sometimes they'll pull some crazy lunge to get ahead.

On a side note, how good does this car look in dark red!!:drool:

Ardius you were right, the BMW handles brilliantly on those tyres, really nice and neutral. I didn't race any GTP people tonight (where was everyone?) but I actually managed to win a race (against an unusually courteous Evo driver)and was leading another by a good distance until the host quit.

It seems wallriding isn't possible there as people who tried got barrier penalties, and anyone without a bit of skill spends half the time braking too late and whacking the barriers. It's the first time I've been more than competitive enough in RWD.

I've been driving the Z4 quite a bit recently, it's swiftly becoming one of my favourites.

Yeah, I was at PP600 Suzuka racing Truth123 and co, so I got a bit distracted. I was at London till around 8.00 and then I stopped seing GTP people, so I switched.

London certainly does reward good driving its only issue is its narrow road, meaning people can block very easily and cars that have spun completely block the road. But as long as you start from the front, you are almost guaranteed to lead by 10 or so seconds.

My win came from starting first, and the race I almost won came from starting 5th of about 8 cars, so it was annoying that the host quit!

But the formula definitely works, so I can't wait to race some GTP people there in the same car. A bunch of us doing powerslides in the fast corners would be ace :D

I might not turn up tonight, because I just got my hands on F1:CE and I can't wait to try it, I will be online a couple of nights this week though, I've not given up on GT5P, its just I want to play a full game for a change :sly:

Probably won't be on tonight, though I had a good couple of races earlier. They were only two car races, myself in the Z4 and then a German racer. In the first race he used an Evo, was a good battle but in the end he passed me because he had much better traction even though I was beating him on the faster turns, but courteously he let me pass on the final straight to win.

I joined the race straight afterwards, to find my German opponent in a Z4! I managed to pass him after a few turns and make quite a lead (he was struggling with oversteer a fair bit) so I slowed my pace to give him a chance to pass, but he didn't really get near. As a mark of thanks for the previous race I slowed to let him pass on the final straight, but the poor chap spun into the barriers on the last corner!

It seems the Z4 is a bit of a 500PP dark horse when it's well set up and well driven. Pity there doesn't seem to be much activity in the way of GTP drivers (not that I can talk, sitting tonight out...) but I think some people shy away from driving RWD online, and take the safe 4WD option.

I have tried to meet you at london at xx:45 but couldn't enter the race so tried just after and was alone with a stupid french(hosting)... (I can say that as I am french :))

He was 1st & missed the 1st corner permitting me to pass him then he bumped me on the straight then pussh me again on the barrier on 2nd corner.... So.... I disconect & left him alone so he can practice his stupid moves :dopey::dopey::dopey:

Really yoo stupid :dunce:
