Swaying?

Im using the DFGT. It feels like my car is swaying on the long straights. More like bouncing between the FF spots. Is there a setting to fix this. I've tried different wheel locks, but I haven't really noticed anything.

stiffer suspension also helps. Actually, try to tune or find a tune to that car. One good example is the GT40 mk1 (legends dlc). After using Renown Tuning setup the car is very fast and more than stable to be driven hard. I remember beating some mates records with it :D

Also use a 1-2% deadzone. But some cars are still almost undriveable with the DFGT, the Radical for example.

What races do you experience the weaving in? In the Exige races thats completely normal... :yuck:

Tuning, tuning, tuning.

The Radical I tuned and can actually make good laps times with now, and is pretty comfortable. It feels like a big go-kart from GT5.

I'm using the R8 with the Renown tune. I'm having the swaying problem on the Suzuka straights. Do you guys tweak his tunes or use them 100%. I noticed his suspension is a little soft on this tune. Also, how do you guys feel about the longer steering lock on the wheel and higher than 24 in the car? The recs are all over the place.

Test track used is London River and tunes are usually in the softer side. But you can tweak it to you liking. I suck at tuning so, except for steering lock and brake pressure I let it the way they are. But I'm gradually starting to mess with swaybars, suspension and gearing one at a time...

I had that problem using the ferrari gt experiance wheel, i reduced the sensitivity by about 20% and that sorted the problem out, i know its a different wheel (and i just got a dfgt yesterday) but it helped alot, also increasing the stiffness of the suspension helped aswell

What about adding speed sensitivity? I know people use that for the DS3. Also, what's a good range for steering sensitivity. I'm currently at 50%. 30% seems like it would handle like a barge. Pm me if you guys race online on PS3. I don't get on too much, and I'm not that great, but I do try to race clean. I also race in GT5 too. Cheers.

Does it feel like it is moving from 1 side of the road to the other?
And if you let the wheel go, does the wheel slap back and forward about 90 deg until you crash?

if so you may try to adjust your steering degree of rotation to around 400 deg.

If messing around with your settings doesn't work to your liking, and it becomes a barrier to you having fun playing the game, turn on your steering assist. That will completely eliminate the problem.
