Switching between B-SPEC and A-SPEC?

Hi, I was wondering for the 24 hour endurance races if I could switch between A-SPEC and B-SPEC?
If so how could I do this?

When you go into the pits,you will drive and then when you slow down a screen comes up saying if you want to refuel and different tires and at the bottom it shows if you want to change to A spec or B spec.

Yes! when you pit you can make your selection between the two.

Keep in mind that if you start a race in A-Spec and then switch to B-Spec at any point during the race then you will NOT get the A-Spec points shown at the beginning of the race.

Also keep in mind (if you're good at the game) that Bob will never be able to keep up with you...defeating the purpose of switching because Bob will start to SUCK and blow your position in the race.

This is the way to alternate. When you feel you are a far enough distance from the AI, you should switch to b-spec. However, this is only for those who don't have time to do it all in a-spec. If the Ai behind you gets too close, switch to a-spec to get ahead. Yah DIG?????????

Yah, I dig. Problem is (for me personally) I have strong boredom issues with running a race that isn't close. In other words, if I can't see the Ai in my mirror, I'll start getting bored. Which defeats the purpose of playing GT4 because I play GT4 (and other racing games) for the rush of a close race.

But you're right: if you really want to switch between drivers, this is the way to do it.
