Is it possible?
I want to set the pedals so they kinds "hang" from the air, and not laying down like they are now.

Are the pedals switchable? Will I have problems with the sensors or waht not?

Not sure about the DFP pedals I just looked on the Logitech website at the pedals. I thought about the same thing with my G25 wheel. After taking the pedals apart all I had to do was to move the "clutch" and "gas" pedals. I did have to give more cord inside the base since the cord changed when I moved the pedals. After that I hung them from the back rails of a "Sears Craftsman adjustable tool stand" I LIKE!
I would think you could do the same with the DFP

well, it could be done. I'm just not so sure what will happen to your warranty.
It would be great though. I don't have the balls to fool around with my wheel, I just don't have that knowledge...
the pedals look pretty unadjustable to me, to be honest...
but please do experiment(!)

I've read that changing the orientation like that changes how the pedals work in relation to how the ankle moves. If you take yours apart, make sure you can reassemble them in their original box, just in case you don't like how they work upside down.

Same applies for me:nervous:
It does look like a cool idea though, but I don't want to risk it just yet, plus I will have to modify my cockpit.

Well, I already too it apart once, and I have to say its messy in there. Sorta.
Had a minor problem fitting it back in, what with the spiriings and stuff, but eventually I made it.

I feared that naybe I messed with the pedals sync, but I didnt notice any problem since I put them back in.

Now only to try and switch them :)

I think you'd be better off going the 'aftermarket' route as opposed to trying to modify the existing DFP pedals.

The two (2) companies that come to mind which will allow you to accomplish what you want to do (Invert pedals) and still keep to being 'plug-n-play' are:

1. Virtual Performance Products

and

2. Frex

Sure, you'll have to come out of pocket a few more $$$, but unless you have the technical/electrical skills to accomplish the transformation on your own with the DFP pedals, but at least the aftermarket pedals will last 10X (if not more) longer then the stock ones will.

Well, just my $0.02 worth.

Cheers,

SRD:

PS: You can also get replacement pedals from ECCI, as I did (Check link to my cockpit below for detailed pics) and they'll work for either the DFP and/or G25. Cost? Just a bit more then if you were going to go out and buy the G25..but they'll last WAY LONGER then stock pedals and you'll be able to really control the throttle on any car you drive!
