So I have been thinking about this for some time now. I want to add a DIY Sequential Shifter to my T500, but heres the catch, I want to use the "signal" that runs off the paddle shifters ( meaning I have the option to use either the paddles or the shifter without having to configure buttons). I like this option as I would also be able to use it with GT5. I found this post and I have the arcade stick to go this route.

I guess my question would be how hard would it be to wire this up on the t500?

As far as how hard it'd be to wire to the T500, I don't know, but did you consider that you'd probably have to have a cord running from inside your T500's housing to the shifter? If you want it to work on GT5 then you probably don't even need the arcade stick board, since you want it to share the same button presses as the paddles. If you wanted it to be stand alone and to work on PC, then you'd need that arcade stick board.

Yes I did consider the wire issue, but that would not be an issue if i can route them inside the housing then out the side of the wheel base. I was considering the arcade stick cause I had one laying around and i figure why try to reinvent the wheel.
