This is a Momo Mod 26C with 13 functions just like the default wheel. The nice thing with this wheel is that it can be taken off and the default one put back on with no problem. You can choose what and where the buttons, knobs and toggles are placed.

This wheel is done be Sam Maxwell an iRacing member. At $500.00 they are not cheap but man are they nice to race with. Sam has many different models to choose from. Pick one and get your T500 fitted with a Momo wheel. I am very happy with this wheel and would highly recommend it.

👍

VERY nice! I'll be ordering a 290mm D-shaped Mod 27 wheel from Sam soon, and I'm going to opt for his paddle shifter mod as well (which includes paddle shifters that move with the wheel).

I've had a chance to check out one of Sam's wheels in person, and they are like works of art. Seriously. You're one lucky guy, and I'm envious (for now, anyway ;) ).

Do we have to join iracing to get a wheel?

That's not required, but I don't believe Sam is a "GTPlanet partner," so he's not authorized by this site to actively sell/market his wheels here on this forum.

Not sure how you would get in touch with him outside of the iRacing forums. Drop me a PM if you'd like to get in touch with him and I will try to hook you up.

That is very pretty ,Droool.
Darren, I love it, I didn't saw this and post a reply in the iracing section lol.
Maya I'll send you his email so you can contact him direct. I never bought the wheel from him but we've conversed ;)
Darren, one thing I noticed since I got mine (recently got a 2nd hand mod69 or 78 can't tell the difference), because of the light-ness of the wheel and high rigidity, I never went back to the original GT rim anymore.so I think you'll experience the same ;)

Darren I hope you don't me adding my 2 cents.. Sam is excellent to do business with, he's flexible, responsive and spends time helping.. A really good operator. I love my Sam Maxwell Plate..!

He's even now bringing out a plate that fits the $30-$50 eBay wheels which is really good for those that can't justify the cost of a premium wheel.

You guys are all right, Sam makes some very sick wheels. I absolutely love mine. I have raced over a month with it now. It is so much nicer then the stock T500 wheel.

@John I didn't go with the paddle shifters because I wouldn't be able to shift on the right side. Something to do with missing a limb on that side. :D Seriously I can shift the stock shifters fine, that's why I left off Sam's shifters.

Is this your wheel "ready"? I think I seen a thread over at iRacing or perhaps it was just a question about Sam getting those plates. I am seriously thinking about getting another Momo, since I have 2 T500's. :)

Yes that's me.. If I wasn't considering a new wheel upgrade (replacing the T500) with something a bit more serious I would've ordered his Momo Mod27C for sure.. Between the P310 & Mod27C it covers 90% of the cars I race.

That's a beauty Fred, you even have two directional buttons on it. It was my understanding that the T500 only utilizes 13 buttons/toggles etc. With the directional buttons wouldn't that put you over 13? or are they just push buttons? Either way that's a fine wheel.

I sent Sam a PM at iRacing and perhaps we will see him here. You are right Marcus, no way will I put the stock wheel back on.
