My set-up.
Right now, i'm using the left TH8RS as a shifter and the right one as a analogue handbrake for Richard Burns Rally and WRC3 and some others.
It's easy for me to turn the right shifter into an H-patern shifter when i prefer that for a game.
The Wheelstand Pro (non-t500 V1) supports al the weight, but it is maxxed-out.
The wheel is hard mounted. To support the dual shifters, i use the original table clamp, with a peace of metal and wood. The metal makes the shifter mount less "floppy".
I use it in front of my 47" Samsung, or at the dinner table with my Alienware 17" extended with a 23" monitor.
The cables are tye-ripped, but very loose, so i can easily dismount the shifters, if i prefer.

The pedals are mounted with 4 tye-rips. Its pretty solid. I prefer the pedals in GT-style, because the seats i use are all higher then someting as a playseat.

I use my set-up with a comfortable living room chair. Great seat, but it can get pretty hot in the back-seat.

As long as the Wheelstand Pro handles the weight, it wil do. When it dies, i'll get a better Wheelstand (deluxe V2) or a Steadiplay. But i think the Steadiplay's price is a bit on the high side.
I think it's a pretty solid, wife friendly solution.
I hope you like my set-up. Topic is open for questions or suggestions.
