Hi Guys,

I'm having a bit of trouble configuring the Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 t500rs integral wheel for Project Cars on PS4. The wheel is very loose when turning and I've got Force Feedback at 100% and has no feeling. Anyway to fix this and what force feedback settings do you recommend? Or will there be an update to fix it?

Thanks and I hope you're all enjoying the game so far.

I had a similar problem with the T300. I calibrated in game, then changed the angle of rotation from 540 degrees to 360. This tightened up the wheel and it feels really good now. Not sure if it will work with T500 but its worth a try!

how did u change the angle of rotation? Is it in the calibration where it asks you to turn the wheel all the way to left and right? Meaning you just turned it partially?

Requires firmware V40 or higher-
The T500 RS racing wheel and the relevant SDK (Software Development Kit) are issued to major PlayStation®3 game development studios to ensure full compatibility with forthcoming releases.
The T500 RS SDK enables PlayStation®3 game development teams to configure and manage Force Feedback effects.
The SDK includes the ability to adjust the wheel's angle of rotation from 40 to 1080°.
Individual development teams are therefore able to adjust and define wheel rotation angles according to their own preferences.
The wheel automatically adjusts to choices made by development teams.
However, it is also possible to manually change the angle of rotation selected by default.
To do so, simultaneously press (and release):
“D-Pad Right” + “MODE button” to increase the angle of rotation by one step
“D-Pad Left” + “MODE button” to decrease the angle of rotation by one step
5 possible settings
ANGLE OF ROTATION selected

Flashes 3 times

Notes:
 Changing the angle of rotation manually does not permanently save the change = you must repeat the procedure each time the game restarts.
 This tip will not function properly in some games (such as GRAN TURISMO® 5) which adjust or modify the angle of rotation at startup or at the restart of each race, according to the type of car being used.

I am not sure about those last 2 parts on the PS4 system (that guide relates to the PS3 system), you will have to play the game to find out :(

i had to move from 1080 down to 540 for a similar problem. out of nowhere i lost force feedback and calibration wasn't working properly. changed to 540 and now very good even if steering lock and force feedback need to be adjusted for every car in tuning option

Is everyone still having the issue with the wheel spinning on its own when coming out of races back to lobby's with the T500?

Yeah I had that.. the wheel move to full right or left and stay there with resistance.
Sometimes it could stay at center but wobbling.
