No, not consciencely anyway. If it looks good, it looks good. The rule of thirds is just a general guide line and it shouldn't apply to everything you take. If you do, all your shots will look textbook and IMO boring.

Agreed; and those shots.. wow.

The rule of thirds is a good way to get newcomers oriented towards composition and what to look for.

Some from this break. I've still got 400 or so more photos to go through; and 6 rolls of film to develop.

OOOhhhhh Tim Hortons' coffee :)

Is it sad that's one of the first things I noticed? I guess that's what happens when you're a Canadian.

Developed some medium format and scanned them in today;

Holga mishaps. They would have been a lot better but I was using expired Kodak film from 1999. I was expecting some cool colours, not a large rectangular light leak through everything.

Thanks tait! :)

Do you scan your film shots in or do you just takes pics of the developed photos with your D200? I'm going to pick up an old Nikon to mess around with this summer.

I was using the Epson 4990 scanner (highly recommend) we had at school, but now that I'm in a different city it's either don't shoot film or pay some store to scan them at crap quality for money. Unfortunately I'm going with the first option.
