The Tatra 613 was a large luxury rear wheel driven car with rear mounted air-cooled engine manufactured by Czechoslovak manufacturer Tatra from the 1970s to the 1990s, as a replacement for the Tatra 603 series. In 1968 Vignale built three prototypes for Tatra, the Czech luxury marque. One of them was used in a crash test, the other two survived this ordeal.

Two models were proposed: a four door limousine and a two door coupe. Only in 1972 production of the 613 sedans started in Czechoslovakia. The 613's were primarily meant as transport for high government and as taxis, a small number were exported. The coupe was never put into production. In style with the Tatra tradition they were equipped with a V8-engine in the rear. In order to obtain a better weight division, the engine was placed right above the rear axle, a 'semi mid engine' so to say.

There's not much information on the 613 GT Coupé prototype that Vignale completed in 1969 in addition to the sedan prototype.
