Team GTPlanet: rFactor Racing

A few members here got together once and decided they wanted to form a team to compete in various rFactor races. With a few PM's and no more than ten posts, Team was born.

This thread will be our homepage. You will be able to find any and all information here. Including Live Streams, Timing and Scoring, points standings, and many other things. By opening this thread, I hope to build a team spirit between our drivers as well as the GTPlanet community.

If you wish to become a driver, skinner, mechanic, strategist or all of the above, feel free to post or PM me or anyone else that's a part of our team. The more the merrier!

As of right now, our focus is on rFactor with Enduracer's Endurance Series mod. But in the future, perhaps we could expand to not only different mods, but also different sims.

Currently, we are part of only one series as we attempt to get off the ground, the Champion Motor Sports World Le Mans Series.

If you want to be on this list, as I said, just post or PM! We want this to be a community effort!

If anybody wants to create a logo, feel free.

The world guys already raced there on Sunday, so our next race is at Road America.

If I get my computer tonight and do all the setups to fix ffb on my wheel now (DFP), will it be the same when I get my G27?

For me the most important thing to setup on the PC's profiler for rFactor is degrees of rotation. For rFactor/Enduracers I run 270 degrees wich is the recomended setting by the modding team, other than that is just a matter of personal taste and fine tuning.

Depends on how high your degrees of rotation is going to be.

I was running on 800x600 lol. Which is the same size as the screenies.
No wonder I could run full settings.

Still can't get the resolution high enough to get anything good.
Highest I can go is 1280xsomething. And on my desktop, that looks relatively bad.
Practice anyone?

Enduro at Sebring.

Ok! Pre-season race for the North America division is tonight, I'll be driving the Patron HPD LMP2 car, let's see how this goes!

Will drive for about half the race. Or at least until 11:00.
I just pray I have problems beforehand.
Knowing me, I'll probably try to finish the race if I'm winning. lol

Well after a good start I moved to second and stayed there for most fo the race and even leading for 3 laps, then on my second stint it all went south. The tiniest concentration lapses will cost dearly in this car! Way tougher to drive than I'd ever imagine! At the end of the race I finished 5th 17 seconds behind 4th and 31 seconds behind 3rd. I need to work on keeping focus with this car, the racing is awesome and I'm very much looking forward to the start of the season!

I was doing SO awesome against the one other GT2 car.
Passed a couple GT1s as well.
My start was so crazy.

Dude you were having an awesome race with that other Porche! Every single time I was coming arround to lap you guys I was extra careful not to disturb you guys too much! Must've sucked big time to be forced to quit mid race.
