GTPlanet's Best Drift Team Table​

So I got thinking.. I always see teams creating threads saying they are battling another team and so on. You never heaar about who won etc.
So I am starting a thread that gives a ranking system to pretty much show who really is the best on GTPlanet!
When you are having a Drift battle ofcourse start a thread etc.. but post it in here also and tell us that you are battling, and once the battle is complete come back with the overall scores and you will be marked up.

The points system will pretty much be simple!

So now in theory teams can actually have bragging rights

Results from last nights battle between UDT(Win) & D-Spec from last night, UDT(Win) & NEMESIS a while ago & <ACN> & NEMESIS(Win)

Scoring will be done on a table when more results are posted.

What i am looking for is an overall score from the whole team and also an overall score of runs won.

So if i won my first 2 sets of runs 14/6 and 12/8 my team would then have an overall score of 26 with 2 sets of runs won and the other team would have a score of 14 with 0 runs won

on the table i will have something like this..
Please note on the official table 2 extra fields will be added. Number of runs made & Win/Loss Ratio!

you should also keep track of their win/loss ratio, that might be a better way of ranking.

We won our first battle against those guys running sports soft, can't remember what their team was called though.

We also kinda beat Blitz Drift but I would'nt put that down as a win

I just see it as something that could cause a lot of ill will between teams, but if it helps people out and they'll use this as a legitimate resource, I guess I'm all for it. Best of luck with it. 👍

Well, amount of wins is not important, i could drive 10 battles and win 3. 30 points, or i could drive 2 and win 2. resulting in 20 points. Who is better then? :s I agree with the thought, but some points need a revision lol

Why ten points? Can we keep it in the lower numerical values?

If its an official GTP race, we can keep track because we small amounts of proof. Though if its against someone else not from GTP proof is needed.

I wasnt talking about points scored. Look at the time of my post, your second scoring tabe wasnt up at that time. What i meant by points: things you need to improve
The way of scoring in the top of the thread (every win is 10 points) is ridiculous, thats what i was trying to say.

Bragging has no place on GTP, period.

Driftings all about skill and if you can't brag that you've got it then what's the point.

The team i'm on and what I do are my business you don't know me so please don't judge me.

I will tell you two things: not many of the best drifters beit tandem or whatever, use this site and secondly the best drifters on this site are well known to the people that know. They've been here since GT4 or earlier. I'm sure once they put some time and/or effort in considering how much older they would be and all the real world obligations they have, you'll see the return of DD. Back in the day they had insane videos and think I have seen one from some of them on GT5. Look them up, they were practicing and perfecting GT long before most of us.

I think you guys have missed the point here. All we are trying to do is to create some kind of team rankings. Yea we might be at the top for now but it won't last for ever and we know that. I'm sure we are not the only un-defeated team out there and if someone comes along who is proven better than us then they take the top spot. Pretty simple really.

D-Spec have proved they are a force to be reckoned with and I wouln't be surprised if they take the top spot very soon.

I dont know you mysterious you're right.. But I like to have the competitive side in me when it comes to drifting with teams. I have alot of fun and anyone around the drifting forum and outside GTP people will tell you. When it comes to team battling i take it seriously and i like to think that if i am not 1st then dammit i will be there. I like to think i have the skill to get my team to the top and keep em there!

Yeah people have got videso on here from years gone by but not everyone has the capability to do so! If i could put up videos of me drifting Myself & GTWelsh would be wowing you guys every week with our tandems if not every night!

just wondering how this ranking will reflect on teams that haven't done battle against each other but had dominated drift competition such as GTP H2H Rd 1, for example Matsuri Missiles(SAi/Keisu/Kaizer/Seigo)??
