I have seen several of the Terlingua (Shelby) Mustangs on several of the tracks throughout the game in Tier 2. Has anyone unlocked this car or is it going to be one that will have a code or you will have to buy from PSN? I know it was available in Undercover. The Terlingua Mustang is a Shelby "Sleeper" as it only has a V6 ...with a supercharger.

If anyone is interested in the specs/history of the car here is a link:

Thanks, I have some work to do since I am only at Level 18. I take it you can only use it in quick race like the other reward cars?

Yep. 👍

Level 20 - Audi R8 LMS

Level 30 - Shelby Terlinguo Ford Mustang

Level 40 - Porsche 911 GT3 RSR

Level 50 - Aston Martin DBR9

I'm close to getting the Mustang. I'm on level 27. :D

When I hit level 30 it said I won it but I have yet to see it in my cars or is this a another glitch/bug in the game?

Is it not in your reward cars in quick race mode? That is where the special cars show up after you unlock them.

I don't get it. Why remove the awesome factor (V8) of a mustang to substitute it with a V6 ?

The Terlingua Mustang has more power and better handling with the V6 than the stock Mustang GT. With the Shelby Terlingua package it is the same price as a Mustang GT from the Dealership. The V6 mustang with the Terlingua package makes a better road car as it does not have the weight of the V8 in the front. The Terlingua package is also an add on to a base model V6 mustang which means that your Insurance company only sees a Vin# for a V6 mustang. Shelby's previous package before the Terlingua Mustang was the CS6 package. Currently Ford is experimenting with the Eco Boost in the Mustang which is a twin turbo V6 that outputs more power than the V8 and alot better gas mileage. I believe this motor is currently in the new Lincoln that just came out. I have had several Mustang's over the gears dating back to 1967 and true it is really hard to replace the sound and feel of a V8!👍

You sure about that? The 2011 Mustang is getting the Duratec 37, the N/A predecessor to the EcoBoost.

And yes, the EcoBoost is currently in a couple of Lincolns. It is also in the Taurus SHO.

Pretty sure that's what it's getting.

Yes, it's already been confirmed that the 2011 Mustang gets the Duratec 37. V6 is getting a very much needed bump in power from 210 hp / 240 ft-lbs to 315 hp / 275 ft-lbs. If it were to get the EcoBoost engine it would be too redundant with the GT, which is getting bumped to 400 hp. The power and price would be too similar.

Now, a four-cylinder EcoBoost as a base model even below the V6, I can probably handle. I'm honestly scared to think of all the teenage girls who will now be cruising around with over 300 hp on tap.

Yep. 👍

I don't know... The "NFS" Terlingua or whatever Mustang goes very fast sometimes, and slow others, I'm not sure what the hell they did with it, it seems to magically go faster when the competition does.👎
