Hello I'm kind of new here in the photography part of GTP, but I was wondering if you guys could help me on a technique, I want to film B&W but I want one single color to be seen such as red, this video is a fantastic example, watch how the Alfa is all black and white, but the disk brakes, logo and other parts are in color, in this case red.

(2:38 - 3:10)

Is there a way to do this at home? :)

I have a Canon S3 IS

Can I set it to film like this automatically or do I need software editing programs?

I have Adobe Photoshop CS5

is there some sort of technique to edit the movie this way through Photoshop??

I have Vegas Pro 9.0

If I can't use the camera or Photoshop can Vegas help me edit the video??

(also what's easiest if all of them can edit it??)

I'm not the best at Software but, if any of you have a Tutorial or anything it would be kindly appreciated!

Thanks!

Are you looking to do an image or a video? For an image, you're looking for Selective Coloring. For a video, I'd imagine it's pretty much the same concept only with 30 frames per second, so depending on the length of the shot, it could be pretty time consuming. You might be able to use filters but I've never really looked into them.
