Tesla Model X 2015

Currently in development but slated for production in 2015 is the Tesla Model X. It's based on the Model S platform. Tesla expects the performance model to go from 0-60 (0-97 km/h) in 4.4 seconds (faster than many sports cars and high performance CUVs as well). The rear doors open falcon-wing style for easier entries and exits for the passengers and the car seats 7 adults.

CUV means Crossover Utility Vehicle. A CUV combines the utility of an SUV and the ride quality of a passenger car.

Looks like Ford Focus....same drivetrain as Model S? I bet this has lower cruising range.

The P90D Signature model is the one I would like. Why?

• 0-60 in 3.2 seconds when in Ludicrous mode.
• 762 HP (503 for the rear, 259 for the front.

Nice to see that the gull-wing doors made it for the production model.
