Tessellation exist BUT IS BROKEN

Today I discovered an odd occurrence. Tesselation, Long thought to be absent, I discovered it to exist but only under one circumstance. Pausing the game. I paused my game in order to go revive my self while looking right in cockpit view, only to see the Cars wheel well ( which looked like a honeycomb on the alpine VGT) near immediately morph into a perfect curve. Im wondering why PD included it, but is absent in both photo mode and in-game, but working flawlessly when pausing the game. ( photos will be uploaded shortly)

I noticed that with pause but It works on other areas of the car during gameplay too, when getting closer to a alfa 4c you can see how the tail lights are getting rounder and rounder.

That's LOD This was actual tesselation as it morphs incredibly fast like it did in GT6. It goes BEYOND the photomode quality too

it's not broken. it's called dynamic tesselation and it adapts to available resources.

In GT sport we haven't seen any tessellation, it was present in the beta . I have pictures , i just need to upload them
