This game is shaping up to be really good - and very similar to the 360 version, apparently, which is great. You can read IGN's hands-on here. This maybe just the game to fill the spot Gran Turismo Mobile was supposed to take...

The release date, as of now, in the UK is 23/2/07 and America 17/4/07

So the PSP version will have the complete island, all the roads, etc, on one disc?

And will it have that MOOR function (or whatever it's called) too?

This is definitely something to keep our eyes on.

It's supposed to be an exact port yeah, but the added hd-hoc multiplayer and infrastructure modes online, which could turn out interesting.

Hmm. Looks like I'll wait for the reviews to come in...

Another thing - since it was a budget title on the 360, would there be any chance that this version would be cheaper than the $40 standard?

EDIT: Hold on, where's the Z06 Corvette?!

It's retailing for £30 here, which is only £5 less than the usual average price for a PSP game. :indiff:

And yeah, there are certain cars missing. I presume that maybe because they're squeezing enough content on a UMD as it is...

Oh, now this bites. It's going to be $40 here, plus it's not going to be released until April 17th (in the US, at least)! :indiff:

I'm guessing this will only be fun if I had infrastructure available...Guess I'll wait for the PS2 version instead. That sucks that it'll still be a while before the ps2 version comes out....

TDU is infrastructure enabled.

It's a direct port of the Xbox360 map and style, the only thing that has been taken out has been the avatar customization and home customization.

I've been playing the beta for quite awhile now and it IS MOOR.

I know but stupid PSP doesnt compatible with my secure wireless network. :irked:

'else I'd be looking at more porn at night.

Hey America actually aren't the first to get something for once...

It's already been out here for a while, but my psp's broken and can't play UMD's. :(

I forgot this just came out!

I only just ordered mine from www.shopto.net. They haven't received stock yet, but it SHOULD be coming in the next few days. Can't wait. :)

I've got it! Pretty amazing how they got it all on the psp, so much to see and do and thats not counting racing online which is pretty cool too.

This game really disappointed me...i went from the 360 version for a few months down to psp and whoa...the graphics shocked me so bad i almost fell of my chair...i must admit they fit so much into a what,2gb disk but i wouldnt reccomend playing i if u just came of the 360 version.

I then went to the ps2 version when it came out and yes it was better but honestly i wouldnt reccomend u play it if u got 360 game. The graphics are just t obad but they managed to put in some new racing clubs to make up for the loss of some cars, all the bikes and the absolute wierd graphics.

What did you expect? The 360 is a lot more capable than the PSP and the PS2.

Considering what the PSP is, I think TDU is a good game for it.
Graphics weren't bad, considering the screen is only a couple of inches in size.

So having only played the PC version--albeit on a slow computer--is this game a good game for the PSP? I need a real good non-RPG game for the PSP. TDU looks promising, but I don't want to waste my money if its not worth it.

Ok...ill put it this way...if your not after graphics buy it. If you are big on graphics rent it and see what you think.

Graphics aren't brilliant, but they're good enough to play with.
Basically during races and time trials, it can be a fast game.

I don't care if it looks like Super Mario Kart for the SNES--if the gameplay and controls are good I'll play it.

That's what I needed to hear. I might pick it up this xmas.
