The other day I was looking through one of my old PSM magazines and I came across this. These are the times and scores obtained by the guys who tested NFS:U2 before it came out. The whole point is to see if you can beat the scores or get close to beating them. Just thought you guys might like to give it a try too.
Circuit Race
Freemont Track - 2 Laps at, or under, 58.98 seconds.
Sprint Race
Palomino and 16th in 1 minute 23.19 seconds.
Drag Race
Bayview Bridge 23.21 seconds.
Downhill Drift
Lighthouse course - 511,000 drift points.
So far I haven't managed to beat any of them. I came close in the circuit race, getting a 101.17 in a fully tuned Skyline. Came close in the drag too, getting a 24.30 in a Nissan 350Z. I think I may be able to beat the downhill drift one because I managed a score of 428,453 in an Evo and that was after I hit the wall and lost a drift of over 100,000 points. The sprint one though... I was a full ten seconds off the mark.
