Stage 6 saw the first of the Cup titles won with Austin343 taking another dominant win. The GC also seems to be his to lose so can anyone mount a last ditch challenge?


Feel free to discuss sector times but please don't mention lap times or total race time.

General Information and Regulations

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by TGT4 sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me ABud) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manner.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round.

• Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
• No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
• Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
• No wall-riding as well. Combined with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
• All decisions by GTMSA officials are final
• Curbs/rumble strips count as track

If a driver doesn't manage to submit a time for a particular stage a penalty time will be assigned, calculated as follows:

110% of the slowest time.

Eg. If the slowest time is 19'25.346 the penalty time for all non submitting racers will be:

21'00.365

Also if a driver joins the series part way through their GC time for the races missed will be calculated in the same way

• Curbs/rumble strips count as track
• Points 10-8-6-4-2-1

No time to do this on the weekend, between work and footy finals, so i submitted the time i set earlier in the week.

Toughest thing about this one was getting cleanly through the traffic, once clear my race was pretty much olr clean. The only incidents were just nudging the second placed car at T8a when overtaking it, and then i also once went wide at T3a, my inside wheels where half on, half off the outside curb (is that considered off course). Anyway I'm happy with my time. The other thing I'd be interested to hear where/how everyone got past the AI, ill start.

5th Chevy Corvette down inside into T3 lap1,
4th Mazda (Concept with flappy rear wings (HSR i think)) around outside of T5 lap1,
3rd Aston Vantage under brakes for T7 lap1,
2nd TVR 350cc over/under move on exit of T8a lap1,
1st Lotus Esprit 330 down inside into T3 lap2.
I restarted several times until i was happy enough with this.

We can only hope that all that college partying will ruin his reflexes in future race series' if not the present one. We have a chance. Found this disclaimer hidden in the original race thread.

There won't be much partying for me. My freshman biology class is using primary scientific literature as the basis for problem sets, to name one example. Seriously, though, I want my college experience to be rigorous, and I don't appear to be sacrificing any of that! I'll get my replay uploaded in a bit here.

Edit: This is another sloppy effort, especially with the two offroading trips and the wall contact within half a lap.

yeah very nice driving Austin343, had to laugh at the HSR on the last lap, had the same thing happen to me on during one of my races (although mine was on first lap), you watch as the HSR flies into the sand, (i wonder if it crashes there every lap) thinking sweet on less car to overtake, and then it finds some mirale grip in there, and lumbers directly into my path, a spin, start, restart ensues.
I really liked this car/track combo - though i suspect its more track becasue i dislike/suck using the elise at Citta Di Aria.
