After four rounds off we return to the Time Trial Cup and the twisting streets of Citta di Aria. Have fun blasting around the tight streets here but don't forget about that loose back end...

Feel free to discuss sector times but please don't mention final lap times.

General Information and Regulations

All rules, regulations, car specifications, and races are controlled by TGT4 sanctioning body, GTMSA. Any and all questions should be directed to GTMSA officials (namely me ABud) and officials will do their best to answer in a timely and accurate manner.

All drivers must run at the specified weights and horsepower settings provided by GTMSA for each round.

  • Standard Online Racing Rules Apply.
  • No Cheating, hybrids, etc. You must run the car specifications I give you
  • Try keeping at least 2 wheels on course. Long races = small mishaps, but absolutely NO shortcuts
  • No wall-riding as well. Combined with penalties, this will slow you down considerably, so don't do it.
  • All decisions by GTMSA officials are final
  • Curbs/rumble strips count as track

If a driver doesn't manage to submit a time for a particular stage a penalty time will be assigned, calculated as follows:

110% of the slowest time.

Eg. If the slowest time is 19'25.346 the penalty time for all non submitting racers will be:

21'00.365

Also if a driver joins the series part way through their GC time for the races missed will be calculated in the same way

I loved this one. 👍 Citta di Aria is a fantastic track, and this car was an interesting match. The last corner is brutal - which holds true in any car, although this one loses more contact with the pavement than most - and to an extent so is the last one before T2, but if you tread carefully, you should be fine. :) My splits were 36.828 - 1'05.323.

I didn't have so much fun, and i know its not the track because i've been doing Licence S2 in the Alfa Duetto on this track and i enjoyed that. I think this track is to narrow for anything remotly powerful, the first half is ok, but when you get to that narrow arch about half way through the lap it gets pretty tight, i had to slow down a fair bit here just to keep it off the walls. (this might be the one test where a some driving aids or TCS would make me able to submit a faster time) The rest of the track is ok, until as Austin343 highlighted you get to the last couple of corners, i couldn't even hold the very slight left before the actual last uphill left flat out, so i know i left plenty of time in both those spots but i cant be bothered trying again to go get it. My splits are 38.796 & 1:09.476.

Glad you are feeling better ABud. No tips from me on this track. I'll just try to keep off the walls.

edit: Have a fairly good time(for me). Could easily be a couple of secs. faster if I can put it all in one lap. Stupid doorways always pop out.

No time for more. Time Submitted.

time submitted.

had a bit of a problem with the doorways at the beginning but managed to put a few clean laps in.

Submitted after spending 2.5 hours at this.

I'm still sttruggling with the site going down, but will get results done as soon as possible. Really strange this, my internet works fine on all other pages.

Here's my lap. I obviously missed some time in a couple of places, but I was quite happy with it. I also spent longer than usual - as generally happens here, most laps ended with a wall impact somewhere.
