First and Foremost, I'd like to thank everyone on the Forum for contributing in the ways you have, from posting tunes, posting photos, advice, recommendations, simply sharing your experiences to help others. Without this forum, I would have given up on GT4 and never moved on to a PS3 and GT5. All the help and info contained on this site, makes for a much more enjoyable game, and most importantly, better driving cars with proper tunes! So thank you.

My name is Jay, I'm from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, USA and I've been a Gran Turismo fan as long as I can remember. It started with GT2 and I've been hooked ever since. I still look and see if a Mazda Demio A-spec is available before I play any Gran Turismo, it was after all the first car I ever remember winning.

I'm a huge fan of cars in general, I still drive a "tuner car" that I built a few years ago, although at 30, I may be outgrowing it. One day I'll upgrade to a more mature tuner car. I used to have the itch for something newer and more exciting, but I work for an awesome company, and the owner has some fun cars I am privileged to drive from time to time, so it holds me over for the time being!

I have not yet gotten real serious on the online portion of the game, I'm currently knocking off race by race, up to A and B Expert level. I try and keep A and B progressing evenly, and I try and keep the "Bob's" happy in the progress. So far it's working out well.

To answer a few questions:

How did you find GTPlanet?
Out of frustration in GT4, looking to properly tune vehicles. Big, big thanks to Mad Finn Tuners Co, my go to spot when they have the tune available!

Where are you from?
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, USA

When did you start playing the Gran Turismo games?
My Uncle had GT2 and I'd play whenever I went to his house. Eventually I bought my own PS2 and picked up with GT3, more goofing off with the "hybrid" cars then playing serious, and really got the bug when I got GT4.

Do you play with a steering wheel?
Yes, and forgive me, I'm drawing a blank on what it's called, the one with the GT in the center of the wheel!

What other games do you enjoy?
Currently, only playing Driver San Francisco, and Little Big Planet 2 with my wife.

What are you most looking forward to doing in the community, now that you're a part of this site?
I'd really like to start a Photomode Gallery, and possibly review the cars that I tune utilizing tunes from the site. I'm a product tester and reviewer by trade, so sharing a detailed opinion seems to be second nature!

The one thing that discourages me in most forums is the drama that tends to develop on certain threads, so I really pick and choose my posts wisely. You're guaranteed to never see me trash talk or put someone down, that's not how I work.

Please feel free to add me on PSN if you wish, I'd love to make some friends to race/cruise with!

Thanks,

Welcome to :gtpflag: even though you've been here for more than 2 years. :sly:

Just kind of lurking in the shadows and back alleys of Madd Finn Tuners

I figured it's about time I started contributing some as well.

Welcome to :gtplanet: Nice edit as well. I saw the post before it was edited.
