Introduction
As all of my friends and others know by now, I am undergoing a second battle with ovarian cancer. Because of this, I have to drop all forseeable future racing plans beyond the end of June. I want my last official race of 2015 to be among friends and I want it to be a clean, festive event. With that said, this event will be exclusive to those on my PSN friends list, as well as those I have raced with previously that are trustworthy enough to not spoil an event.
Car Rules
The car rules are very simple. All that is required for those racing is a Red Bull X2014 Standard, available in the Gran Turismo dealership for 3 million credits, racing soft tires, and an oil change. All cars will be left untuned in all aspects and the power limiter will be brought to 50%, which means we will be racing at 419 horsepower.
Safety Car Rules
A safety car period system (for ovals it's simply a caution) will be used for the case that I actually have people show up. Cautions will be used in accidents where multiple cars are involved and there are stranded vehicles in the way of potential traffic. Pace speed will be 55 mph, and safety car periods will last for three laps. During those laps, pit lane will be open at all times to all drivers. I will be looking for a safety car driver to help enforce this system.
Qualifying Rules
Qualifying will be held right before the race in 15 minute long session attached to the 200 lap race itself. All competing drivers must run laps so the safety car is pushed to the back of the field at the start.
Race Rules
The race will start immediately from the moment drivers gain control of their vehicles. No formation laps will be required as the field will be set to a rolling start x2 file. It is stressed that leading the first lap will not win you the race and there isn't a reward for it. This is a test of endurance and to figure out who the better strategists and smart drivers are. I will allow officials from other series to use this race to evaluate drivers and if they are to be allowed to race for them. Please take this serious. Being an imbecile will only make this whole thing longer and very boring.
Entry Regulations
It is recommended that everyone use different colors to help identify teams and factions present. Numbers won't be necessary and I will keep record of drivers and nations present. As stated above, you'll need to be invited by either myself or someone given authority to do so.

Sounds interesting, but I would need to see if I am available that day. What time of the day are you planning this?

Looking at starting in the afternoon and ending after sunset on the East Coast. It'll likely be over a span of 3-5 hours depending on if everyone races at their cleanest or not. I'll have a better idea once I've run laps at Motegi and done a fuel stint.

OP has been updated to include day planner and driver lists. I'll have a pit window and preliminary times up hopefully by tomorrow night.

R&D Post Here...
On normal tire wear/fuel consumption, I got 88 laps out of a full tank alone, but tires only lasted 70 laps. It's a long time but it should make it a bit easier to avoid cautions if everyone knows that they have about 35 minutes before a pit stop. In 30 minutes I ran 60 laps, which means if we run caution free (fat chance, but miracles happen), then the race will be done in approximately 1 hour 50 minutes.

I think we have a far better chance of running caution free just because of the width of the track. I don't see it being a cluster:censored: like Indy. 👍

That's why I picked Motegi. I've never had a bad race at Motegi ever, road course or oval.

Let's not remember Indy. Be the Pace Car for the Indy 500 they said, it'll be fun they said.

I'll try to be there, I probably will make it if is not on a Saturday. But I still could make it but no guarantees if it is a Saturday. Hope you get back to racing asap.

Ehh I'm interested, but not sure if I'm on your good side yet, Angel. :boggled:

Depending on how the RACE Mazdaspeed Cup goes, I may invite people from there. @Furinkazen you are welcome as well.

Some things to cover now that I've sat and thought about it.
1) Room will be hosted in the GTPlanet Community Club. It'll just be titled Motegi 300.
2) I will be open to having someone livestream it and someone recording the replay afterwards.

I'm going to pass on this. My only reason is that I don't think it'll be fun.

Edit: Why did @BRRT_Angel like this? I just called her event "not fun." Of course I don't mean for everyone, just for me personally. Still, I wouldn't think one would like it when someone else calls their organized event "not fun".
