"Dyson Racing apparently leaving Grand-Am for ALMS in 2002"
It looks like Dyson Racing will not defend its Grand-Am sports car title in 2002. The Grand-Am prototype champion in the series first two years, the team will not take part in further rounds after an assault on the Daytona 24 Hours next month, officials say. Instead, Dyson will undertake a limited number of American Le Mans Series races. We are just going to go to the tracks that Rob [Dyson, the team owner] likes, said team manager Pat Smith. Dyson Racing will take its Ford-powered Riley & Scott Mk III to the Sebring and Road Atlanta enduros at the beginning and end of the ALMS season. Apparently, Rob also likes the three street races in Miami, Washington and Trois-Rivieres, as well as the Road America and Mid-Ohio tracks.
Still though, what car are they using?
