Ended up voting for the 1st shot, by alex.
The composition and blur are awesome, the tones make it seem like an oil painting with great depth. 👍

2nd is really nice too, also very fitting to the theme. (I think it's Loon's, right?)
Beautiful pastel tones and a very well picked angle. Great work.

5th shot (suzq) is also awesome, I can't believe nobody has still voted for it. I'm guessing many people aren't enlarging the shots. The haze effect as if it was heat rising up from the asphalt is just awesome and the overall feeling is... well, hot.

Last one, by J, is also a brilliant piece of work, very artistic indeed, perfectly executed. It just didn't fit the theme quite as well as some of the others.
But as far as being artistic, it's probably the best one for me. 👍

Tough choice. Voted in Alex shot...because it looks better suited to the theme.
But Jgda9rs photo is also awesome, GREAT work mate!

There are great shots in this one. It was very hard to choose. Mainly between Alex's, NTX's and suzq's. Those 3 fit the theme the best for me.
J's shot is truly the most artistic!

I notice that you can't see "the heat" in my preview pic. dang it.

thanks for the kind words this is what i hate about posting comp entries in my gallery. all the comments get left here and not on my page i maybe losing, but i guess it's a good thing you guys like it. if you saw the pics on my gallery, you can see that i actually used a cooling filter on the two images before i made that entry. just another makeshift. alex is killing me (grrrr!!! reality check)

His shots were awesome, not so much on the editing itself (which was fairly good and very tasteful), but as far as photography goes, he had plenty of gorgeous pics and some incredible angles. 👍
