Theme: Show Room Style

This week, suzq wants to take out your GT car and put it on display somewhere like a show room or auto show stand. You can even combine it with the real version of the car…the imagination is the limits.

​

• Both Gran Turismo 4 and Tourist Trophy can be used in this competition;
• The picture may be altered in any way you see it more artistic, but there must be visible elements from GT4 and/or TT. [NOTE: Have always the original picture saved; in case of doubt, the judge and/or host can request it (and it must be submitted)];
• Photoshop Rules are free, meaning that you can use every tool available in Photoshop or in any other image editing program;
• Animated images and or videos are not allowed has entries.
• Only one entry may be submitted. It must be your own work and it can’t be one entry already submitted in another competition;
• The entry must have a “Final Entry” written in the post;
• The entry may only be changed once. When changing it, indicate clearly (please, when doing these, edit your post with your new entry, do not submit a new post with a new entry);
• Submit your entry either on thumbnail or as a preview linked to the full size image. The preview must not be larger than 400 pixels. [Instructions to Linked Previews];
• Don't ask others members to choose your entry. Have confidence in your own skills.

The entry must be your own work, meaning that it must be you to take the shot and edit it. You can’t take a shot for another person to edit nor, edit a shot that it is not yours.

it's not quite what I had in mind; i'll do a demo later today.
But as it is the only entry thus-far, i'll allow it. I wanted to move a gran turismo car to the world outside gran turismo.

This is the one i did for the last competition of the same theme:

It was a PITA to shoot the right angle on this one.

well i think that location looks like a showroom in some ways. I don't see whats wrong with it.

Well, it is the Theme chooser choice, since he (the theme chooser), provided the theme and can judge the entries accordingly to what he was thinking. But, this competition his a competition with quite widely themes and it is subject to art and Art is Subjective, so, Swiss Legend Interprets that location has a showroom place (me too, I have to add, since I took a shot in the same location, but I didn’t had time yet to edit it). Also, there are many types of showrooms; you can also do a show room outside (like in Rallies showroom). Again, I add, art is subjective to anyone’s interpretation. If we all went to do that type of cut the car and put in a real showroom, we would get equal entries, has also not everyone have the skills to do that. I don’t have, that I can assure you.


Also, I am going to have this open more days, or maybe a week, since there is still one entry. I will try to enter also

about the crappy untouched image: am I the only one who thinks that nearly all of the GT4 rims seem too small for their respective cars? particularly on production cars?

Well, the image may already been submitted in other competition, but the entry itself, no. It is a new Entry, never submitted before, more like a recycle entry of an old entry entered in another competition.

So, I don’t know. The rules say you may not submit an entry already submitted in any other competition. It doesn’t speak about the image itself.

It isn’t at any part, similar to the other one, so, I don’t know. I think it is quite valid, but then again, it isn't so fair.

It won't be fair to use that car again, so I'm agree with you LDS. It was better to show it.
