The best drift car

Which car, do you think, is the best drift machine (either standard or tuned) in GT2? Silvias or TVRs, FR Skylines or Corvettes? Maybe FC RX-7s? Or something else? Feel free to share your opinions :)

To get into a drift I think TVRs are the best, they're so oversteery in the first place! But for longer drifts I think Corvettes/Vipers are better. FR Skylines are good if you just started drifting, as it'll rarely spin you out of control. For me personally, I'll take the Stratos if I want to drift :D. Amazing engine sound to compliment the tire screech :).

Thanks. I did it for entry into stinstigs drift club, but I do a lot of videos anyway. No wonder Im doing media studies next year :) check out my youtube channel, its chock full of random GTA videos of just random action...sorry, ontopic - for FF cars, I find the 91 Honda Prelude is actually quite good as a drifter despite the powre going to the wrong wheels :)

For drift cars I love american cars because of engine torque and sound. But I began drifting with a S15 Silvia Spec R Aero completely stock, because of its abilities to keep a good angle in slow corners.
But for long corners, the TVRs (especially the Cerbera) are the best : they are able to do a powerslde at about 100 mph for the most powerful of them.

welcome back, loulou.

For FF drifters I think the Spoon Integra Type-R is best. That car doesn't feel like FF at all. And Lotus Esprits are also excellent drifters IMO.

The FF car that brought me most fun so far was the Mugen Integra-R, fully tuned at Motorsports Land. That was unbelievably good 👍

Currently I use, as my best FF car, a fully tuned Fiat Coupè, with front race tyres and back simulation tyres. It's one of the easiest cars to drift in GT2

Yeah I drove a Fiat Coupe around for awhile. 👍 They're fun.

As an unlikely choice, the HKS Drag Car (180SX, not the R33 GT-R pig) is actually quite good for holding long drifts once you get the hang of it. The problem is just to get the car turned in at the entry of the corner. Once you're past the apex just jam the throttle and let the massive torque+wheelspin drift you out to the exit. Of course, supersofts front and simulation rear tires are needed :D.

I would have to say that FC RX-7's, FR Silvias, are the best drift machines from what I have expeirienced, I dont try to drift much so I dont know how true this statement is in the scheme of things, It is just that when I drive FC RX-7's and FR Silvias hard I catch myself going sideways for most of the turn while stil having control.

Hey, we have another Mazda 787B here! 👍 Mazda 787B, meet 787B-RX-7 Lover. :):)

Actually, I must say, the GT40 seems to drift on it's own. I generally drift through quite a few corners in every race, so it's kinda difficult for me to pick one favorite drift car when I've had experience with so many. I'll have to say that my top choice is the Corvette ZR-1, followed by my Skyline 280 RS (i think it's the 280 RS, you know, the P-Ride one).

Yup, GT40s are very slidey, that's true.

I just started playing GT2 again. I really like the lower horsepower silva S13s. I never slide out of control like the faster ones.

Probably the RS 200 Rally car by ford... Used it on every track so far, It is a great car that smokes the tires nearly on every turn without major speed loss..
I sold mine though for a Subaru 22 B (so I could fit one in my garage). The later is very useless unless modified to 531 BHP.

I'm trying several race cars, and they are very easy to drift with simulation tyres, especially the GT40 Race Car, which is the best MR drifting car I've ever tried. Good power and easy control makes it a great car for drifting...

I like using the Corrola Levin ('83 or '85 can't remember), especially on the Seattle Circuit (FULL) great street drifting there.

mazdaspeed RX-7 GT-c with life-like tires and max HP. drifted around the whole of the first corner at super speedway, loked good on the replay too.

Mine are the stock S13 and Nismo 270R I have.
Some other drift cars I like to use are
AE86 Trueno/Levin
KGPC10 Skyline GT-R
R31 Skyline RSX Turbo thing, and that other old Skyline... forgot what they're called xD
1991 Supra Turbo

I'm not rich so I haven't been able to try drifting more expensive cars like the Elise GT1 and S2000 GT1, etc, and when I was younger I couldn't control them and sold them immediately, but I will... one day... :mischievous:

Also, congratulate me, I've just started forcing myself to drive MT in everything :D Endurance races are a bit annoying in MT though xD I still mess up sometimes, but overall it gives me much better control and makes it a bit more exciting and engaging.

AE86 for sure, but im working over beautiful Mark II also - hes not perfect for doing drifts but it will be hehe

Favorite drift car would be hard for me to say. I'll have to think about it. It's been awhile since I played GT2. My first drift was in a Viper. But that aint my favorite. There's STis, various muscle cars, ...

Damn, I'll have to think about it. :ouch:

Best drift car? I don't think any of them could be the absolute best. All cars have characteristics that make one better than another. Whatever, just my opinion. :indiff:
