The Suzuki GSX-R/4 is the best nonrace car I've driven in gt4 by far with 256hp and 186.69Nm tuned to the max SM tyres It seat a 1:14. at Mid-field with no aids. Standard with SM tyres it it Keeps up with a 300hp JGTC Car with RM tyres. I like it so drive it and tell me what you think.

P.S My school in its wisdom has banned this site I need help.:nervous:

happy

I'd imagine that keeping up with the GT300 cars would be quite easy due to its light weight- Not only in straight line but in cornering ability aswell.

A real challenge is taking it up against The 900+hp LM beasts(group C, LMP, etc.)

Something tells me from the way you used the word "nonrace" and your other posts that you generally dislike driving street-legal roadcars in GT4...?

If that's true, I have no idea why you bought this game instead of TRD3.

i never really bothered trying the car out since i thought it was one of those slow concepts, but hearing this, i might try it out now

The Suzuki GSX-R/4 is probably my favourite car in GT4, its such a hoot to drive, you can't beat a good giant killer like this. 👍

Not true I like driving street-legal cars in gt4, but this is a racing game not a I'll pop down to the shops one.

Just set a 7,25,449 at the ring. Not fast but I was using sport medium tyres with no aids.

With what car?

You'll probably be amazed at this little car. It's not only pretty fast, but also a lot of fun to drive. I've got a few of which I tuned one completely (Including rear wing)... Great car.

Your a bit slow ay.:dunce:
This post is for the GSX-R/4 and I have improved the time it's a 7:12 now. 290Km down the straight not happy about the time. Below 7:00 or bust.

I think I might try the spoiler. By the way it's faster with the aids turned off.

Tryed the spoiler. GSX-R/4 dose a 6:57 at the ring with a spoiler thats 7 seconds slower then a R34 V-spec II with 800hp, medium racing tyres and spoiler thats pretty fast for a car with sport medium tyres and no aids.

Try giving it a few powah upgrades. Should cut the time down considerably (or not if it's already maxed out).

The next thing I'll try is racing tyres to see what time it dose with some grip. Due to the fact that my funds have droped below $24 000 000, that may be some time.

Not sure why we had to bring this back up, but...

Seeing as we have, I'll correct this ridiculous untruth to say that a GT-R34 V-SpecII with 800bhp and R3s will lap considerably faster than 6'50 - 6'20 is a rather more accurate guess.

To add a little comment of my own, my favourite non-race-car is a disputed thing... I love GT-R33 Skylines, 500bhp or so has them at their best handling-wise, glorious. Although, the Tommy kaira ZZ-II, which I've only recently driven for the first time, is a brilliant drive as well. Both of these are 300mph-capable, if that's your idea of 'best'.

It depends really on my mood. If I want to go record-breaking, a GT-R34 V-SpecII Nur does very nicely. British nostalgia, I'll go for a TVR Cerbera, or if I want to dance with death I'll take my rather extreme Dodge Viper. The list goes on :)

yes Skyline with much HP

I like light and nimble, like the Catherham 7. I hate GT4 for the fireblade = a special car:grumpy: that's rubish, why didn't they put in the classic as a normal car(yes slowest version but still very fast and exilent handling).

but I must say the Fireblade is light like a feather and it goes, no top speed with less then 300 HP but heej I don't care I take another for high speed(viper, Skyline, etc.) and the fireblade to take corners :D

why to use new cars that whine on the edge of redline, when you can use old and reliable cars?

Lotus Elan (fully modded, 206bhp, 500/600kg) gave hard time to AC cobra S/C. blast to drive.

Alpine ( the round one, has 300bhp+, 500/600kg), mean surprise on any track. bit tailhappy.

Ginetta G4. 400kg+ and 320bhp+, which equals about 700bhp/ton. nuff said.

See? old POS sportsters can give the new, shiny performance cars that have god knows how many onboard computers to keep stuff in check a hard time. and not only in the corners.. :mischievous:

try turbocharging and oilchange.

edit: oops, not 320 in Ginetta, but 234bhp. still, it's one of the fastest oldies.

at the moment my favourite non race car is a stock bmw 330i. by stock i mean the tyres that come with it, sports mediums, and an oil change. certainly not the fastest car but i've been giving it a pretty good workout on the nurburgring, 8,01.8?? so far.
my favourite tuned road car is still my 375hp shelby GT350. i love that car.
