In hindsight I took the fastlane through GT5 like most people do and now I have opted to return to discover all the little races I passed up. Please share your chronicles here if you will.
Beginner series: Lightweight K Cup
I have discovered in Japan they adore 63 hp cars. Alot of them, and that they even have a truck that looks like a cartoon and probably couldn't carry my backpack. I have a concept Diahatsu OFC-1 with a cute dash that could be the poster child for raw power at 61 hp. Now what I find strange here is that there is a host of these cars that they assembled just to race at 40 mph.
Strange. I am biased, but I would have love to have seen my truck, a 5.9 litre straight six 12 Valve Turbo Cummins Diesel Dodge Ram Extra cab long bed instead. A truck that has actually changed the entire industry of light duty Diesel Trucks forever and can haul your KTM 450, Yamaha Blaster, 21' Camper and 6 passengers up Snoqualmie pass at 70 m.p.h. and is still considered to be one of the best drag strip diesels?
Oddly enough you won't find these mini cars stateside and you won't find my truck in Japan, I don't think we could reach eachothers footpedals.
So alas I move forward to the invigorrating Japan classics, followed by the bone-jarring Vitz series...woohooo!
